    I paid for survey 3/10
MA rang to say all well with valuation 9/10
    Received formal offer today!
Seemed to take for ever to get that final ok.
  • We received our offer today as well.

The application went in on the 16th of September. It was delayed for 4 days due to the valuation questioned by us and 3 days when we were away and couldn't send off the documents they requested.

Good Luck to those still waiting!

I checked online and my wife had a credit search on the Friday but nothing on my file yet..

What CRA did this search show up on Borich?
  • Mine was Equifax. 1 search and 2 follow-ups.

Mine has been equifax, I must be really lucky, I've had 7 entries on mine, all within a week!
  • Cheers guys, I have had ID checks on Experian but not a full credit search recorded. I know they use both but nothing on EX yet. Submitted Residential over 10 days ago but linked to a BTL sent on Tuesday. Still no update although I thought they were processing applications from Tuesday yesterday...
  • We had our valuation Monday 13th. Our broker said today there's been a hold up because the lender couldn't ascertain who was selling the property. (the landlord, we are currently the tenants). We have a LA and the same company also have a EA which are two different offices in different places, neither of whom were prepared to disclose that it's technically a private sale. Nightmare.

Well, we've had our mortgage offer from Nat West, the first 2 were incorrect due to admin issues at Nat West.

Dave Ham has been great in assisting with this.

Just need to get the vendor now to get a move on as she moved out a few months ago, she's in negative equity and thank bank has got to approve the new reduced offer (as a result of the survey).

Got to say, on the whole Nat West have been fairly efficient!
  • We have had the money taken today from NatWest (NW/ BIRMINGHAM GB) for the surveys for both (Well there was two taken so...) - I am correct in thinking that this is the last stage with them isn't it?

That being the case - what time frame should it be from money taken to offer being placed?

It can't be offered until the valuation has been done and the report returned to the lender and assessed as acceptable.

This would depend on when the surveyor can get an appointment to do the inspection.
