Ok spoken to the vet and it could just be that his micro chip is taking itself for a wander (I was told that they couldn't move but apparently they can)! They've agreed to see me for free to scan the mystery lump and so see if it is the chip. Fingers crossed it is!

Good news on the vet front, hopefully it is just a repositioning of the chip that is required. Fingers crossed!

Ok so I went out with a friend last night for a drink to celebrate her promotion. I paid to congratulate her - so spent £16. Hmmm. Not happy with that now, although she deserves it! And I did also spend £1.50 on a card for her as I didn't have time to go to a cheaper place. (Wow I sound like a right tight a$%^ nowadays!)
However I did first go with her to see a plastic surgeon so at least I didn't sign up to have lipo!! (FYI she's just having damage to her ear repaired)

  • Don't beat yourself up too much. I have my besties' Birthday tomorrow night and I have had to put some money aside for it. I am hoping to get away with only paying £5 even though I have £25 available!!

    Hi all!

Sorry been awol - no reason why to be completely honest! Naughty twiggy!

So OH gave me another £100 towards what he owes me which I'm going to use towards the beds. Didn't go into town and put it in the bank so I wont deduct it off my totals until its in there. But it takes me down to £395 and if I manage to get away with not paying for the work to my car until after Feb pay day, I can use the £130 council tax (which doesn't need to be paid this month) towards it taking me to £265! If so I think I could manage to get the beds paid off at the end of March - the deadline is 10 May. That would massively help my brain as it would be a weight lifted and a debt gone!

However, thinking about it I need to clear my OD before paying off the beds otherwise I'll start incurring charges! Damn it! Parents did say they would lend it to me as they don't like interest and charges! If I can get it down as low as possible but ideally around £200 before paying off the beds and then I'll ask them. If I pay the beds after April payday, what I owe my parents will be down to £66.96 - annoying as I'll be so close to clearing another debt only to increase it! Well it wont be increasing my total debt but you know what I mean!

Checked my bank this morning and Next have taken their DD of £12.20, and £5 reward from bank has been paid which I'll use towards to OD.

In other news, I finally have a shower I can use! This is literally the best thing ever after having to have baths for the last 7 months! Hopefully having the hallway and utility room plastered this weekend. This is very exciting as it means we can get the hall finished off so it wont look like a building site (concrete floor) as soon as you walk through the door! Do need to get some bits to finish it off so may take a few weeks to save the money - new bannister and one pack of wood flooring, oh and carpet for the landing and stairs! Ok maybe more than a few weeks but at least I'll feel like its moving forward again!

Ok think I've rambled long enough, sure there's something else I meant to say/write so I could be back!

!!!!!! - just realised if I'd counted the £100 off the beds it would have taken me under £7,000! Oh well I can have the pleasure of saying that on Saturday once I've paid it in!

Felt rubbish by the time I got home from work yesterday and ended up having a takeaway! Naughty me and wasn't even that nice! Still feel rubbish today but must behave myself!

Also OH's boss is ill meaning OH cant work today so wont earn anything. However he's cracking on with the renovations at home instead! God knows what state the house will be in when I get home! Good to be making progress again but I think I'm going to have to pay less of the debts whilst this next round of work goes on. However it is primarily the building work that built up the debt so as long as we don't add to it! Plus I've already done really well this month and paid a lot off - although I know what I'm like and will probably beat myself up next month when the debt repayment figure isn't as high! You just cant win with me! Lol!

My Noodle report has improved from 3/5 to 4/5! I know not to read too much into this, but that's doesn't mean I cant celebrate that someone (or some computer) thinks my credit rating is improving! :j (That's me doing a little jig on my own in the office!)

That's fab, well done! Definitely cause for celebration. Mine is a craptacular 1/5. Hoping that by contacting all the companies who haven't updated my accounts as settled or have the wrong default date may help some but not holding my breath.

    Enjoy your victory! :)
