He has made bids on 60+ broken/faulty items including phones, PSP (£10) etc. What you would get is a repaired item but I'm sure time will tell on this story as it unfolds

He's only been using his ebay account since the 9th of July this month... I'd be very cautious... if something seems to good to be true... then it usually is...

I think he returns the broken ones in the new box to the manufacturer thus making £40 or so quid. That is how i understand it.

yeh but if its water damage they'd knock him back, or physically damaged by dropping.

i think he just repairs them...might work in a factory or something, and get spare parts. i dunno. i'd becareful. but i'd still do it....only thing is i dont even have a psp not even a broken 1.

1 way u could make money is by a broken 1 off ebay cheap as. or from loot or somewere. then pay him £40 for a new 1.

If thats his game he is deliberately decieving another (Sony) to make money for personal gain. sounds like fraud to me.

THe way i see it is something along the lines of this.

You place the order with him, he buys a brand new one from a website, that gets delivered and he then gets the courier to deliver it to you. Courier swaps PSP over and the old one goes back to the seller. Seller then returns it to where he bought it from.

Only thing i can't see is how he deals with serial numbers etc.

its not decieving if the fault is down to manufacturing problem. just using the system, hard to proove it in court...and make it stick. u always have the argument i bought it and it had been waterdamaged (for e.g.) before he got it. wouldnt go that far, just get a warning off sony
