The con, and it is a con, is he obviously knows of a retailer who will dispatched PSP's without a postage charge. He simply gives orders a PSP in your name and uses your address. Most couriers WILL NOT open a package to check the contents, so the customer, you, open to check it. Hardly ever done on the doorstep is it? The switch is then made. The courier takes it back as faulty, maybe damaged in transit, or whatever. 07707jaimie has his money, thank you very much. Any come back is on you. Oh yes, you probably, if you get away with it, will have another courier knocking your door with the replacement PSP that was "damaged", BUT BY THEN 07707jaime has shut his account and moved onto another con.

How could you return a parcel with the courier, you wouldn't have addressed it, the company certainly wouldn't be expecting it back quite so soon and would expect to be contacted first. Not sure about this theory either.

    Keep 'em coming.

Maybe the courier used is a friend, courier delivers new psp, swaps for old psp and arranges an "accident" on his van? SPlit the profits perhaps?

He's now got a neg for this, and returned a neg!

Your solution is the buyers are so thick they think a repaired psp is a new one! And that he just happens to have brand new psp boxes and packaging to put them in.

and no not thick just accept it, because of the price.

"looks like a catalog return, had the protective films on, but a bit of dirt here and there"

    straight from the horse's mouth.....

also Mrb surely they'd click when so many PSP's get damaged in transit through 1 retailer.....

    Someone should inform Sony immediately.

When my PS2 broke, I phoned sony as it was stilll under guarantee, and they did the exact thing he is describing.

what he is doing is ringing sony and saying 'my psp broke down its still under guarantee' then referring them to the buyers address. Sony replace or fix the item, no problem.

Sony dont usually check the guarantee, and if they do, he can easily use an in date guarantee, just go to the shop, buy a psp with guarantee, sorted, makes £35 or so from all the ebay sales, easy.

When i called sony didnt even check my guarantee. Its a real shame to see someone abuse sony's fantastic customer service though.

I will be informing Sony immediately.

And I guess its ok with you for people to take as much water as they need, to sell on to others in the recent flood affected areas

Well that's a good attitude to have. So what if because of this, Sony decide to put up prices to compensate for all these guarantee claims?

Sony make billions from providing a quality product, so you shouldn't take advantage of someones brilliant business. If you had a business, im sure you wouldnt want someone exploiting a loophole...
