One lady near me parks her "mum truck" inside the school gates, half on the kerb, as close as she could possibly get without getting her fat a$$ out of the car and walking an extra 20 steps.. really annoys me every morning as this is the 4th week of her doing it now.
ooh, i did a rant too, it must be catching :rotfl:
Best of luck nanny - keep busy, drink lots of water, change up your normal routine to help. Remember, "fridge pickers wear big knickers"...:p
Morning Hun
Hope you're having a much better day today
It's always the same lazy bum people I see, who unsurprisingly we walk past getting into their cars on the half mile walk to school every morning.Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Dealmonster have a good offer for Ripley Castle for half term - £10 - we went earlier in the year and its fabulous for a walk around - loads of places for kids to let off steam and for picnics.
Highlights
• Save on Halloween activities at Ripley Castle, from 25-31 October
• Explore the gardens on the Halloween Hunt and Monster Riddle Quest
cant give the link as it seemed to be a referral one with my details in but googling should be easy
(my only gripe was that you had to walk through the gift shop to get in - I could never have done that when my 3 were little - we would have had to be let in through a side gate!

I'm a skinny minny but did it LY to lose my last half a stone of baby weight.. did it for 6 weeks and lost 9 pounds. I found it brilliant.
Thanks for that, i've added it to my xmas list :T (there is only gin and perfume on it at the mo)
That sounds like the perfect Christmas list - gin, perfume, cook book - possibly some posh choc as well?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Nanny - it worked well for me. Started June 2013 at a little over 11 stone and got down to 9st8lb within a few months. All inclusive holidays have meant a gain of about 4/5 lbs each time but this has come off again very quickly. Before I went to Sr Lanka last month I made an effort and got down to 9st5lb before I went so that I had a bit of leeway. This morning I was 9st7lb - need another 2 lbs off before Cyprus at the end of the month but thats not too critical.
The thing is, the weight comes off slowly but steadily but once you reach your target you still need to weigh regularly and keep it in check. I find that I need to do a fast day every 5 or 6 days to keep my weight stable.
My cholesterol level has dropped a bit and my thyroid and blood sugar levels are also better. Doc is well pleased and I feel much better in myself. I have always struggled with my weight - not obese, just too heavy for my height. I needed at least 20lbs off but other diets just didn't work long term as I couldn't cope with being on a permanent 'you can't eat this/drink that regime'. 5:2 doesn't feel like a diet.ELITE 5:2
