In fact looking at Q clicksnap this morning OH and myself have both got carling cider listed :T for £2 cashback - rather than a free bottle like last weekend.

But if you go to the receipt upload page, tick Asda and todays date it allows you to tick the cider and the £1 dog food even though the dog food has a zero against claims.
so not worth risking getting the dog food but it would be Ok to get the cider again?

    Has everyone got the same?

I didn't know about cider on CS last weekend. Got mine through Cos. I have free cider from 24-1 Nov but no option to upload receipt. Then I have £2 for cider from 24- 6 Nov. Would like to do the free 1st but not sure how to when no uploading options.

Free tin of Heinz classic soup on cos 31- 1 Nov. Hth xx

Hi there, :eek:horrible journey back from A - but looks like I may have a glitch.

CBY Indulgent Jam Donuts (2) are back on vs T at 57p. These are the £2.25 donuts rather than the £1.20 ones - my vouchers needed me to spend more and, in any event, £1.20 ones are now useless as they are not part of my glitch. So, it's the £2.25 ones needed!

That's if you can find them at all:mad: - I could not find an A that had both the Lynx/Imperial Leathers and the Donuts. My two As with the Lynx Gold. and Imperial Leather Enrich - neither had the more expensive Jam Donuts. Just the £1.20 ones (no use!) and every type of £2.25 donut except Jam:mad:. I felt that everyone shopping must have been secretly aware of the possible glitch. The ONLY A that didn't have the Imperial Leathers (although it had the Lynx trigger, just about, only one left) had the Donuts. So, after some rejigging of shops and journey back to the correct A:mad::mad:, I managed a shop with Donuts but no shower gels (will have to be done later!).

Best thing is though that I found the £2.25 donuts instore on 2 for £3. However, msm has had them all morning and now at straight £2.25!

So, hopefully £4.50 vs 57p (and 10% lower) x2. I think they might be paying me to take two packs of them!

Other items I noticed (not glitchy) but may be good vs T at the moment. 500g Spring Greens still on 54p in T. Flora Cuisine is on about the best price I've seen - but need to buy 2. £1.70 bogo'f' at T.

Heinz is my OHs fav - I may have to wrap the tins for Christmas :D
you may well jest at this but in our house christmas is a bit like that...

we are probably one of those families who if we need something we buy it so christmas has evolved to become a 10 present thing with a maximum spend of about £30 each.
We really have great fun in finding the strangest presents and if its a freebie all the better...
Kids have grown up with it too and now quite happily join in....there are the usual suspects like chocolate coins / chocolate oranges but the thing that is still talked about was the year I managed 2 pairs of the orange innocent drinks socks,a pair each for the boys...still wear them still love them

It doesnt help much that all our birthdays also fall with 10 days over christmas so a little light relief with the presents on christmas morning is good.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Can I please just ask, are 'any' of the impulse with nail stuff still ok for a vM's shop?

Also is anyone getting their £5 vouchers form the Morrisons catalina machines yet?

I tired earlier in the week, firstly buying a 9p banana, no vouchers.

All I needed was bread and milk so I go these for Shopotize plus 2 more bottles of Hardys stamp. I now have £25 worth of vouchers stuck in limbo.

2 thoughts - if the £100 of points is zero d at the start of each month should we get more wine today :D

Also someone said yesterday there is a stop on the system which does not allow numerous wombles being added - set maximum every fortnight. so if this is the case then its worth making sure everyone in your household has a 3Ms card so you can put the spare wombles - esp if your daily walk takes you through the delights of the Morrisons car park :)

  • Just got the 12 pack of Carling in A's for £6.67 and £3.95 cash back. I'm not the biggest fan of it but some of OH's relatives are coming to visit in November so it'll do nicely for then ;)
No sign of the cider though so will have to stop by T's on the way home.

It's an exciting business this cashback lark :D :rotfl:

    1 x ASDA White Potatoes (2.5Kg)£1.69£1.99
    1 x Activia 0% Fat Free Yogurt - Peach (4x125g)£1.50£1.50
2 x Birds Eye Steamfresh Mediterranean Vegetable Pasta...£2.00N/A

I thought as much - Steamfresh returning N/A vs M as this is a new stockage in M - £1 there if I have the right version. Therefore, it's vs T at £1 and no need to buy two. Also allows me to mention that those of us outside of N.I. lost the Edward Potatoes vs Morries - but, now onto White Potatoes (no need to buy two:rotfl:) vs Sainsbobs, open to all! Sains now £1.25 on those:T - my normal guide for 2.5Kg bags has been £1. But vs £1.25 does make them better than the Eday Value price of £1.18. However, much much bigger sacks are often cheaper, may be available from farm shops and like - 12Kg was £2 in Morries but now £3.25 there.

This gave a voucher vs T (although I'm showing the M comp):
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Indulgent Chocolate Eclairs (2)£2.25N/A
    1 x ASDA Bananas (10)£1.50N/A
    1 x ASDA Brown Onions (1.1Kg)£0.75£0.76
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Butterfly Choux Buns (2)
    £2.25N/A

Oh why couldn't you have bought the Raspberry Jam Donuts?!?:rotfl: Does show however that it looks like the entire 2 for £3 offer is missing online - may be other possible combinations available but 2x Jam is definitely the best one.

Yes well sort of - its something a bit unusual and off beat and we can combine Christmas markets. Its also a building we have not been inside but it looks very swish.

I saw this Groupon and was v tempted. Wishing I had got it now as it was very festive! Sil has taken Mil for a few Birthday afternoon teas there and has been very pleased. (Lovely on the inside. Better than looking at the outside of the building! Not keen on this or the new library I'm afraid!).

As an extra special treat you could go up to the top floor to Marco Pierre Whites restaurant for a drink, or to 'look at the menu' and a 'look around before booking a celebration'. The terrace has amazing views over Birmingham if it's a clear day.

Taking my students to the German market on 19th Nov. We booked early enough to get free hot chocolate and a ride on the carousel. Very MSE!

    Have fun! HE x
