That sounds like me...and the type of thing I would organise...not exactly his thing but suits me perfectly....bingo I get to choose something I quite fancy and pass it off as his christmas present...

so I'm guessing you fancied the christmas afternoon tea mhoc?

Yes well sort of - its something a bit unusual and off beat and we can combine Christmas markets. Its also a building we have not been inside but it looks very swish.

The last nice afternoon tea we went to was when I took him to see the vineyards at Holmfirth earlier in the year - their cafe do a fabulous afternoon tea - this was part of his birthday treat midweek break. Quite a lot of wine was sampled as well :D

Fancy afternoon teas and Christmas markets seem to be one of our "things" - we go to them all over the place

Also if left to my OH we would never go anywhere - the other Saturday when he was having a off day and refused to go anywhere his idea of a a thrilling afternoon was to go to get fire lighters

Actually did a real man shop the other night for pennies. We had a PS4 game, carling beer, big pizza, choc and cheese, net cost 55p. To add to the cider and lattice crisps. My OH living the dream :rotfl:
