I took DS1 with me last year to the christmas thing at T ...we really enjoyed it and there wasn't much red velvet cake left after my wonderboy got to it...


I do hope they do it again and they send invites to orchard members,its one of the only reasons I keep that one going.

I was having a conversation with the kids earlier about what they wanted for Christmas. Our houseguest said he would quite like a Hudl as someone he knows someone who had one last year and he was impressed.
As they were walking off after DS2 'whispered' rather loudly to him 'should have asked for an iPad you idiot' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I would agree. I've had the M8 since the week of release and it's a cracking phone. That's a brilliant price for the PAYG handset.

Could it be organised so he can get a day off or at least half a day so you can take him out for a pre Christmas treat - make it a nice surprise and not tell where he going or what you will be doing?

I am taking my OH for a festive afternoon tea - mulled wine, stolen, mince pies etc in Brum - its not exactly his thing but its quirky and unusual, something we would not ever do normally and its a very posh modern building and we can go and see the German market while we are there so it will be very atmospheric and festive. We are going in a mid week afternoon so it will break the week up.
Groupon and living social are good for ideas.

What about giving him some home made coupons that he can exchange for things that are personal to you both. Now before people think of rude things… I was thinking of a home cooked meal, undertaking a task that he normally does etc.

There is no point in having your house full of stuff you don't need/want. ps toblerone are in one of the pound shops!
