Yes it does look nice - I got this deal on the 20% off weekend so even better I booked for November as everything gets so busy in the last few weeks before Christmas
I think the cube has come up a few times for various offers and the Marco Pierre Whites restaurant but a bit pricey.

best thing is to just buy it, check your receipt and if no points then go to CS to complain or get a refund

Yep that's a turnip!! but for some reason we called them 'snannies'??? Gets quite complicated in our house as I'm from up north and Pops is from southwest and he used to work in fruit & veg markets!!

In these parts, swede is yellow and tastes delicious when mashed, particularly in "mixed mash" along with potatoes, carrots and plenty of black pepper. Turnip is a small, tasteless white thing. I remember carving these for Halloween when I was in the brownies (like FC, I am old enough to have been around before pumpkins were invented). The smell was rank when you put a lit candle in them (obviously tealights hadn't yet been invented either lol).


No carvings here, we're not artistic enough. In 2008 we were staying with my friend in Denver around Halloween. It was also the time of the US presidential election and her son came up with this rather splendid Sarah Palin pumpkin!
