Do not know if this site can help me (you have in the past and a big `thank you to all) or if you can direct me where I can get info.
I keep reading about scanning barcodes in shops with your phones and uploading it to the cashback sites. I would like to know the `ins and outs` of which types of phones needed and approx. how much it would cost initially and also would I need to have a monthly contract phone. Have asked the family, they know I like to save money but they do not really know what I am talking about. Hoping you do. TIA

    I'm that old too!!
It took hours to carve them, the candle burnt them and usually the string you carried them with!!

The youth of today don't know they are born with pumpkins :rotfl::rotfl:
Then again, we didn't go trick or treating - we stayed in and 'bobbed' for apples!

Any PAYG/Contract smartphone as long as it's got Android 4.0 or higher or an iphone. It's as simple as that. Ebay/Amazon/Google.

I found the Moto G 4G pretty good for cashback apps etc. It's a pretty recent version of android and can be got sim free from Tesco direct or on Tesco's own network. It's in double up at the minute too.

I do most of the uploading on wifi so don't think contract or PAYG will be an issue.

Other's may have better suggestions :D

Great idea from my lovely friend in bonnie Scotland called a Screaming Swede. You put a swede/turnip in the micro for 20 minutes, cut off the top, add butter, salt, pepper, to taste. It mashes easily and tastes delicious. Haggis and neep tomorrow for tea then ! No peeling and chopping any more. You learn something new every day!
