However, for someone to get a jail term then there must be a lot more to it than a second time being caught. Do we really know anyone - not a chance online and lets get real - people can post whatever rubbish they want and the truth may not even be close.
So don't be taken in with thinking people are always honest on here.
Agreed on both points highlighted, it would be a rare case where someone is jailed for driving whilst disqualified with out any agravating circumstances.
ditto on the honesty point too!
Don't get me wrong I like Scamps and welcome his return but as I said last night lets cut the backslaping and prodigal son bull please."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Thanks for the flipside view, I am encouraged that its his suggestion to take something similar to carling zest as his drink contribution,so he is I believe aware of % etc...however i cant vouch for everyone else there or indeed those that may find it funny to spike drinks etc.....what I have never encountered is a private party with so many people possibly attending...100 seems a lot to me.
I have never forgotton what my first real hangover was like and to a point it shaped my views moving forward......but I am also very aware that in saying no to allowing him to go could help shape how he sees me in the future...
its sometimes really hard being a parent isn't it getting that balance right....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Settling into the new term well thanks. She doesn't miss the hair cutting escapades from last year. She is so relieved she doesn't need an operation lots of intricate makeup work this year and fiddly hair dos.
Needed a small mortgage for the make up kits this year. So told her she can keep my hair cut to keep her hand in.
Sorry haven't replied to your PM yet rhos, I have had my hands full with Mr TS being away.0 -
Morning all.
Good news today DD3 had her 6 month check on her broken arm.
It has finally healed. :j:j:j
No rush to take metal work out but when they do they will tidy up the nasty scar. :T Appointment in a year so that her college course is done and dusted.
In a rush but needed to say .........

i am so glad I did not upset you to much with my post as i was going to delete it, you lad seems sensible and he was upfront with you, but you can not vouch for others, maybe some advice about not leaving drink unattended and not to drink things others offer will be a good idea at the end of the day we have to trust our kids to make the right choice but giving them some well meaning advice can not help xx0 -

Such a big relief. It means she can jump again but we don't have a trampoline anymore.
She is not sure how she feels about going back to the gym, 18 months is a long time and lots will have changed.0 -

I'm wondering if the Morries mbuy failure on the APG means that if a Batchelor's Super Noodles 100g, that compared against M, was bought, together with 3x packs of 613g Chicken Fillets, that would result in 50p for M for all four:D. This time it is the Super Noodles that are on 4 for £2 in M.
The Semi skimmed 4 pint milk returning £4.17, but showing red for mbuy, may be a clue that that was affected, in England only. One way of finding out may be that, if someone is already doing a shop vs Mr T and buying 3x 4 pint milk, to put a Batchelor's Super Noodles in the shop as they are 50p in A and T.
I thought the Super Noodles were 4 for £2 in M but msm showing 3 for £2?:question: I am 'sure'* there are a lot more varieties of Super Noodles in M that msm isn't showing. Oh well, maybe if someone is only buying 2x 4 pint British Semi Skimmed vs T, put one Batchelor's Super Noodles with it (check msm to see which are showing for both T and M) too and then we'll have results for both.
I thought the Pasta Mac. Cheese was straight 50p in M, therefore no good as not on Morries mbuy, but msm saying 89p. It may have gone up in price in M today.
If there is a favourable glitch (and you've probably already found it and I've not caught up at all and not going to read anything here until I come back), then I'd like the Monday results to continue and I'm not happy going to M as you know what this means - new price data is due very soon. You have only today to find it and just about only today to buy the required items. If there's nothing in our favour, then I'll be glad to see this data go and pleased there's another collection today. I'm now off to M - see you later.
*I say that, with quotes, as I'll go and find my recollection is wrong or someone else will! However, I may be doubting myself again when in fact I'm correct.0
