    Glass half full!?:cool::D

    Usually :D

    Almost everything I've ordered online (apart from clothing) in the past 6 months or so has been damaged in some way, so I'll refrain from being too excited until proven otherwise! I want to go to Aldi and get some of those bread mixes but I'll be waiting for the go-ahead text from DH before tempting fate! :rotfl:

    There are some on a.com that are 2.70/2 for £3 but they 1.50 on msm (I assume these are the ones DD is talking about as the apg will go on the price paid in store)

    I am in sada now. These r priced at £1.50 on Sel and go through the till at that.
    It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
    The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.
  • Quick question - I've just realised that the pork loin joint I bought in a failed APG has yesterdays date on :( Surely this will be ok if I cook today won't it? It's chilled not frozen. If I tell OH its out of date he won't eat it and I don't eat meat therefore don't know much about this. I don't want to waste it though when an animal has died for this. TIA

    I can't see any OS for £2.70 on A.com. What am I doing wrong please. Tia
    Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

    It has finally healed. :j:j:j

    No rush to take metal work out but when they do they will tidy up the nasty scar. :T Appointment in a year so that her college course is done and dusted. :)

    I can't either, maybe my sada doesn't stock them. Looks like it's dodgy now though anyway

    As long as it smells ok it's fine, I'm not one for paying much attention to best before dates anyway

    Thank you so much M22M and FC for your words of wisdom and advice...Youve both absolutely hit the nail on the head...

    is he sensible,yes i'd like to think so,has he drank before...no not really other than a glass of champagne on "special occaisions" etc...do I know the family...no...the girl has recently moved to the school and I think this is an attempt for her to integrate into the 6th form...I have googled the address,and ive no reason to believe that there should be problems,they do indeed live in secluded area with stabling etc....in fact its the sort of property that would fit the entire floor space of our house into their conservatory and their horses probably have more living space than us!!!!!

    he's happy for dad to take him on saturday and has agreed that he will take his mobile and call if the party winds up earlier otherwise dad can again collect him at 8am....so on the face of it,we have answers.....but then I remember my first all night party and suddenly it doesnt seem such a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
