    Good Morning,

10 ways has just posted about Argos 2 for £30 toys going through at 2 for £15.

I couldn't find anything for mine though, that they need.

i am so glad I did not upset you to much with my post as i was going to delete it, you lad seems sensible and he was upfront with you, but you can not vouch for others, maybe some advice about not leaving drink unattended and not to drink things others offer will be a good idea at the end of the day we have to trust our kids to make the right choice but giving them some well meaning advice can not help xx

no offence taken whatsoever...and no appology needed.

This is one of the last remaining firsts for us as a family and TBH I posed the q here hoping to get both sides of the coin in feedback....

I genuinely dont want to stop him going ...but I also dont want to end up as the nagging or over protective parent who gives him a list of rules and regulations to adhere to . I am also concious of the fact that sometimes even the most sensible people can find themselves in an awkward situation...if I take my own growing up,although I was generally a good girl, sometimes the bad had a way of finding me, putting me in situations that perhaps were not the best placed at the time....and I do see quite a lot of me in DS1....I am genuinely interested how others view this life event...afterall most of us have probably been there...so hence my throwing it out in the mix for general discussion...

:T Does she need to have it taken out? They're leaving the plate in my leg in :)

No she doesn't need to have it taken out but she would benefit from one of the scars being tidied up it is really shiny, red and thick and in a noticeable place when she does not have sleeves.

She told the consultant she was happy to leave things as they are at the moment but he is happy to see her in a year just to make sure she has not had second thoughts. She will be 18 by then so might think it is worth having the scar seen to.

If anyone is trying to think of something unusual to do pre Christmas then what about a mini cruise

    http://www.fredolsencruises.com/places-we-visit/cruise-holiday/festive-mini-cruise-to-dublin-D1425?referrer=7&isback=1&dm_i=8ID,2VOLZ,5KVPQ6,AFFT9,1

You board in Liverpool on Wednesday afternoon, overnight you sail to Dublin, then you have all day in Dublin to do your Christmas shopping, then overnight on board again and back in Liverpool on Friday morning.

Inside cabins are £129 and outsides £149 - very cheap when you think what 2 nights b and b, dinners, afternoon snacks, midnight buffets etc would cost.

Extras - I don't know if they will do drink packages but if so it will be something like £29 per person per day - depends on how much drinking you do.
Also ask about the shuttle bus into Dublin - sometimes they are run by the ports but not always, might be anywhere between £5 and £15 charge.
Tours - there are 8 listed, not cheap but not compulsory you can just as well just get the hop on hop off bus - think you might be able to book this online on their website.

or if you are the other side of the country

    going from Tilbury to Bruges - December 13th to 15th - £138/£158

Hi Snap-ants, I hope you are feeling better. That picture makes me drool. I would love that kind of storage in my house.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
