I've never known them to have dates on.

All of my LYB cards have had expiry dates on from on line glitches it is usually year on from around the time they get around to sending them out not the actual order date.

I still have a couple from big glitch last year that expire November. So will have to fit couple of birthdays in before then. ;)

If you have been lucky to get them without an expiry date on I would like Locarr suggested wait until you go instore to use it in your birthday month.

Something I did notice with my very first one was even though it had an expiry date on when I registered it to my online account it was actually valid for a year from when I added it. So andi123 if yours didn't have a date it will probably only be valid until year from now.

He he love these stories. My sis had been waiting for a proposal for ages, been together for 10 years and for the last 5 years has been wondering when he would do it!!. She was already looking at rings etc. Then he proposed last year. And she only went ring shopping this summer :rotfl: they both said they were too busy to shop.

My proposal was a long one too.. Been together with OH for 8 years and we were in the process of buying a house. We went out for dinner one night and he was a bit jumpy and fussy about where we went. At the end of the meal he said "so, if we are buying a house together, are we going to be together forever" and I laughed and said "next question", until i saw a glittering diamond in a box. He'd been to Antwerp and bought the diamond without me knowing and had the ring made in Hatton Garden.. little romantic that he is :A:D
I love hearing proposal stories :T

    Oct 2012

Hubby greeted me in the morning with a full breakfast in bed, which he went and bought fresh while I was sleeping. I also got a lovely bunch of flowers. I should have guessed then really as he had never made me breakfast in bed before and hasn't done since!

He insisted we should go to the Malvern hills for a walk in the Autumn sunshine, but when we got to the top it was so windy that I turned around and started walking back down again, which he looked a bit annoyed about! We cuddled up on a bench to keep warm and started talking about our future and the house we were saving for. He then said 'I know it's probably not a surprise now but...' and got down on one knee with a diamond ring he'd had specially made in London :)

It very much was a surprise though, I can tell you that, my mind was imagining the whole process but it didn't actually click that it was happening! He was kneeling there for what must have felt like ages and I was just silently thinking 'Aww wouldn't it be nice if he proposed now, it's so romantic here... Oh look, he's kneeling down, I wonder what he's doing... Oh look at that, he's got a ring and he's saying something... Hmm, perhaps I should say something back at this point...' Poor bloke, at least I said yes at the end of all that! :rotfl:

He'd also made up a picnic, bought me my favourite musical on dvd with choccies to watch in the afternoon, and booked a lovely restaurant for the evening. He even bought me a fancy new dress and shoes so I couldn't say I had nothing to wear, and it all fitted! :j

It was a truly lovely day :smileyhea

Quick question, hubby's xbox 360 died randomly the other day, it just went pop during the scary bit of Doctor Who. We suspect it might be the charger cable but have no way of testing it.

If anyone has had similar issues before, please let me know how you resolved it! The charger is £15 and we couldn't return it to Amazon and get our money back if the actual console is dead.

Alternatively, if anyone has seen a good price for the Xbox 1 I'd be interested in hearing where, as that may have to be his new Christmas present! £350 is the best I've seen, with Fifa 15
  • Anyone getting the free gift from loccitane have a check inside the box and there should be a £10 off wys £20 valid until 2/11
