Mine arrived, but is it blank, so how do I know when it's valid until?
it's got a year on it from when you/someone puts a date on it! I would leave it blank until you claim your "birthday" gift!"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Buzzagent - another fascinating set of surveys about my lifestyle and hair concerns
- I feel I ought to cut a chunk of hair off and send it to them - this is how its been for decades, its now not going to change from one month to the next :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Morning elite.
I've not been about much recently, I seem to have a big black cloud hanging over me and have had for some time and I'm struggling to shake it off (I know what the cloud is, i had pnd a while back).
DH now finally knows the extent of how bad I've been feeling though.
Yesterday was a really bad day, I had a phone call from child services as during a telling off to DD a couple of days ago about her attitude towards most things at the moment I said a few things I shouldn't have. She burst into tears in school and it all came out which is why I got a phone call
I did tell them in the heat of the moment things were said that shouldn't have been and I've obviously learnt from it. But I've scared myself livid now that my kids will be taken off me.
Sorry for gibbering on here, I wish I had more time to spend on here but I'm stretched so far around at the moment and I feel I'm trying to do everything myself.
On the plus side, today is a new day and me and DD have wiped the slate cleaneverything seems strangely calm at the moment  I'm waiting for something else to go wrong
None of us are perfect and have all said things in the heat of the moment that we wish we hadn't.
Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs ever so don't be too hard on yourself. :grouphug:N1LDA0 -

Dip I'm sorry you are going through a bad time xx
We all say things we don't mean in the heat of the moment, my dd1 is nearly 9 and she winds me up something silly sometimes.
This parenting stuff isn't easy babe, we're all just doing out best x

Go cat, sorry to hear about hubby. Hope he's feeling better soon. I know it's happened a few times before can they do anything to prevent it? Hopeople you're holding up okay, must be scary for you too.
Mhoc, sounds a good deal. My dh not much bothered by stuff like that but I went to York on a girls w/e and we visited the trains and York itself is so beautiful.
Bubbs, glad you and hubby healing well. Do you have to go full time next week? Sounds as if you should ease into it a bit more...
Does anyone read other threads? There's one on weddings which caught my eye. 'Waiting for proposal-how did you stay sane?' Made me remember waiting for my dh to pop the question... I waited a grand total of
4 months
but it felt like forever. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just wondered about other elites?

Jan 2012.
Dd2 was 9 months old and it was DP's 30th birthday. We left our little darlings with SIL and flew off to New York Thursday- Monday.
The Friday was his 30th birthday. It was raining. We went to Times Square for breakfast at 7am (I'd been up since 4:30!) and then to the natural history museum, decided after to go to the Empire State Building but when we got up to the top fog had descended and you couldn't see a thing!
So we went shopping instead and then back to the hotel to get ready to go out for dinner.
A few hours later we walked 4 blocks back to Times Square, I turned around to say something and he wasn't there. He was on one knee with a glittering diamond in his hand
We then went for a nice dinner in a restaurant nearby.0 -
