  • Thanks for the giggles this evening, it's time for me to get myself off to bed.

I had 4 on CC today (ordered 10 boxes, no subs) they are so salty blerk!!!
It's worth it for the APG and food bank.

Yup but as my mum has coelac disease so that's almost only treats she can have for that price as everything gluten free is sooo expensive... Who would pay £3 for such a thing...

Never managed to get any of the grouse. I nearly let cat out the bag other evening I have those RTC Jura whisky from As hidden for Mr TS this year. ;)

I get far too excited about xmas. :o

I did find a Baileys tin with miniature and chocolates in my bathroom think it must have fallen off a shelf.
  • PD, a question for you please.

My family do a secret santa for Christmas for the adults. I have drawn my SIL, and her hobbies are baking and gardening. If you had to choose the things that you as a baker would not be without what would they be please? And what is the item you would want the most? The budget is £50.

She only bakes for herself and my DS, and just does the basics, but has recently started experimenting with icing and making shapes with icing paste. She bought a basic set of shape cutters for the icing paste from lakeland.

    Many thanks in advance.

You can buy so much for £50! It's one of those things where it's hard to know what she already has. I would stick to vouchers so she could choose herself, either from Hobbycraft or Lakeland and maybe get something small to go with it like a piping bag and nozzle set or flower plunge cutters - something that's not too seasonal and can be reused throughout the year if that makes sense.

    Hope that helps! x

It's confusing that there are two different 2 for £1.50 on cakes, some Kipling cakes, but not all, only about seven of them, in one and on a different 2 for £1.50 the McVities Jamaica and others.

Regarding the Jamaica offer, are we sure that all items in that are on a.com and msm? I noticed some new Hallowe'en seasonal cakes in my store today - possible that some item in this offer is available in store but not showing online at all. Jamaica or Lyle Syrup at full price vs M at 64p?

Otherwise is there any positioning (store-specific) instore that suggests that the Kipling and the McVities are both on 2 for £1.50 and in the same offer? Buy one of each offer if on same shelving in store, multi inevitably missed, refund and £2 GC as per store signage, full prices on each vs elsewhere (right type of each to be good comparison vs chosen competitor, probably M). Sadly the Kipling Bakewell Tart, that shows straight 96p (and is, just about, 74p in M - that offer going after this weekend) is not on any 2 for £1.50 and neither is it marked as being 2 for £1.50 in any of my stores!

I am going to need to find the instructions to my new central heating control neither me or Mr TS can remember how to turn it on again. :o

Thought I had yesterday evening but think it must have been some kind of boost switch as it came on 30 mins or so and has not been back on since. :rotfl:
