Don't beat about the bush sal! :rotfl::rotfl:

The amount of time I spend going back to msm to check something is still the case, yet again, then having ensured it was accurate before I posted, coming back to here with the information...

Sometimes I can't manage and I say "I haven't got time to check" - but, be assured, that's certainly never through laziness on my part. Sal, you are quite right. It would only take a few seconds to check on msm rather than waiting for an answer on here, where someone just has that one item to look at! (That's not a cue to post a whole list for the checking by others btw:rotfl:. Check it on msm yourselves!)

Do not beat around the bush!:T:A

Did anyone try out the potential glitch on 2 for £2 cleaning products? Potential trigger was the yellow 1 litre Dettol Power & Fresh Multi Purpose Cleaner which still doesn't appear on A or MSM for me.

Potential useful matches Harpic 100% Limescale Remover Original (750ml) or Harpic 100% Limescale Remover Fresh (750ml) £1.98 v £1.15 AvT

Harpic White & Shine Bleach Citrus Fresh (750ml) or Harpic White & Shine Bleach Original (750ml) £1.80 v £1 AvW

It may be that it is left over from the cleaning events, so in short supply?

Do we know about any invisible triggers on the 3 for £5 toiletries? There's an imperial leather for 91p at tesco, and £2.70 at asda also on 3 for £5.

So if there's an invisible trigger on there then it's going to compare 2 of the shower gels £5.40 Vs £1.82.

I wish! I hope there does become one - I looked at this a number of weeks ago (I think when T was 91p on the Imperial Leather - obviously their normal price having increased it way up in price for a week or two to then advertise it as "half price" or "better than..." and make it look good at 91p back again now:rotfl:). Sadly the other Imperial Leathers - these are the Skinkind ones aren't they from memory? - also at 91p in T (at least last time) are really unavailable in A. I have not gone to msm here and checked this btw:rotfl::rotfl:. A has a lesser range than T. Wish they had other flavours, even if T were 91p on all of the flavours, for one to be a no-show, although would be even much better 3x full price vs 3x 91p (with paying 3 for £5 of course). But, since mbuy showing on msm, I assume - I have not checked!:rotfl::rotfl: - I wish there was something invisible in the 3 for £5.

    36 cans at £20!:eek::eek::eek:_pale__pale_:rotfl:

As opposed to guide price of £10 on 20 pack cans and then 10% cheaper = £9 as £10 would be found at a competitor. Albeit that this sort of offer is not on at the moment, but then... I wait until it is!

Normal price for me would therefore be 40 cans at £18 total. I note the "free" Sky Sports passes. As this is overcharged, compared to my best deal on 20 pack cans (two of which would give 4 cans more, and yes they are all 440ml cans) by £2 and giving you 4 fewer cans, it's therefore a cost of... gets calculator out:o:o...do, do, do...

36 cans at £20:eek:. Is 5.555...p per can. Compared to 20 cans for £9 (including APG, less cost of items you would already be buying (and therefore cost-neutral) as part of comparison vs whichever competitor, probably T or M, goes back onto £10), is 4.5p per can. Meaning that 36 would be nominally £16.20. You are paying £20, therefore cost for the "free" Sky Sports thing is £4.80:eek::eek:. Not free at all. (Or, alternatively, treat that as the passes being worth only £16.17 rather than that inflated price, as you are paying £4.80 towards them by the overpayment on the beer compared to my best pricing, assuming that the passes are "worth" £20.97 anywhere in the first place. £20.97-£4.80 overpayment makes them "worth" £16.17 for the purposes of this offer, as you're losing £4.80 rather than "saving" £20.97 (and, as mentioned, that assumes that £20.97 is a reasonable or realistic price for the passes). So, in true style of the supermarkets, take the supposed £20.97 "saving" and offset your £4.80 loss against it:rotfl:.)

Many thanks for continuing to post these hotdeals items - they are actually very very useful and do draw my attention to a lot of good offers that I would not have otherwise seen. Therefore, thanks bubbs and please keep posting them!

Even if, on this one occasion, I've torn this one to shreds!:rotfl: (Albeit on basis of pricing not currently available... but then the key is to wait until it is on that better pricing and then...stock up!!!:D;))

52 items on A and 56 on MSM ... doesn't particularly help us as the wrong way round but it suggests that there may be others in A that may not be currently flagged in the offer?

What are Ts on? I know I spend a lot more than some on here.........but £90???

With Halloween fast approaching we're getting the treats in early, save yourself a trip to the shops this week and get £13 off* your next online grocery shop.
Simply use the eCoupon below when you spend £90 or more on a grocery order delivered or collected on or before Sunday 2nd November 2014.
    Kind regards,
    Tesco.com

They are on a very good marketing thing where the vast majority of people - muggles that they are - do weekly shops and spend vast sums of money, especially even more in the run-up to Christmas, for whom a £13 off would seem a fantastic deal. Overpaying on nearly everything, like we see with APG womble muggles, offsetting items and getting virtually no TPP if any TPP at all, rather than splitting all their shops down to the bare minimum possible amount of payment, each one vs a particular competitor, and getting virtually all of it back through glitches.

£90 is a very realistic amount for many people, especially before Christmas.

    EDIT:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: £13 represents about 14.4...% of £90, not that the vast majority of the public can do percentages at all as most of them are totally thick in that compartment too:p (sorry to be so arrogant and strident on my part:rotfl:). Which equates to the same as about £2.88 off a usual £20. It's therefore an even worse deal than a £3 off £20!:rotfl: (My guide, btw, on £20 shops is now for £5 off them, £3 is absolutely poor IMO. Well, I had £10:T off some £30s myself, after failing to shop at T for so very very long indeed - they must have been really missing me:D:D:rotfl::T:rotfl:, so really a quarter (i.e. £5, off £20) is itself rubbish. Would need to be at least £6.67:rotfl: off £20 to get me shopping (based on being as good as £10 off £30). I had £8 off £40 from Sains for a few weeks in a row once, that's 20% percentage. So, anything less than £4 off £20 is rubbish as it's even worse than that. Ideally, you want at least a quarter, if not a third, off - and then half (preferably more, but half is more realistic) of the total bill before the cond.spend back through being half the price at a comparable competitor.)

I can see the brown £6 one on both A.com and MSM but this one on A.com only. Actually looking at that with the double ££ in the red '2 for £8' banner in the top left.......This signified glitchy items last year as well? Can't remember the details of how it worked offhand but it had some significance. Anyone else remember?

You're right, it did signify glitchy items before. But I wouldn't give that much significance nowadays, given that I've seen several with this thing that have reflected the mbuy correctly on msm. It does cause me to look - and sadly the ones I've seen in more recent times have been showing correctly on msm and thus I haven't even posted anything about them on here. I do check sometimes and things lead to nought, so I don't bother mentioning them. I get prices each twice-a-week from M including several items, probably each time, that turn out to lead to nought as they aren't comparable anywhere and what actually makes it to the M list (or ad-hoc M vs A/T) doesn't contain every item and price that I had obtained that time.

I wasn't even going to bother to mention them, but some points offers on canned fruits - it turns out none of which are comparable to elsewhere. Shame, it seems, that T no longer stock their Orange Segments at 50p. With the points it would have been 40p anyway, so even then, way too dear, as it is there is no 50p to compare to and S/P Mandarin Segments were 28p years ago before prices rose everywhere. Avoid!:rotfl: I've been avoiding any canned orange segments product ever since.
