My family do a secret santa for Christmas for the adults. I have drawn my SIL, and her hobbies are baking and gardening. If you had to choose the things that you as a baker would not be without what would they be please? And what is the item you would want the most? The budget is £50.
She only bakes for herself and my DS, and just does the basics, but has recently started experimenting with icing and making shapes with icing paste. She bought a basic set of shape cutters for the icing paste from lakeland.
Many thanks in advance.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Thinking out loud, if I am feeling cold down here what on earth is it like for all of you north of let's say Oxford.0

Night FC. From one of your fiends. :eek:0 -
I disagree with the quiz:eek:
Glen Miller did not fly from a North London Airport never to be seen again.
He flew from A small run way in a village just outside Bedford.
Sorry I know how to pronounce the village but not spell it:)
It is about 60 miles from London and 3 miles from where I grew up.

I may be wrong but I think the deal with the kitchen roll is just that it's comparing well.
A £2.20 v W 96p
:shhh::silenced: You're wrong! One in W at 96p is 55 sheets per roll whereas A's is double length 100. W does have double length ("Jumbo") 100 (2 rolls) but is much higher priced than 96p on that:rotfl: - at £2.65! Msm is 'linked', on the £2.20 A one, to the wrong ones.
:rotfl::rotfl: The single length A rolls (at 50 sheets per roll and £1.25) do not even compare, not even to the slightly-more sheets 96p 2-pack rolls at W. More fool my womblees for buying the "cheaper" ones.
You want the "more expensive" (or which appear to be) £2.20 packs. They go vs 96p (offer supposed to be on until November) and therefore 86.4p for a pack if bought correctly. They are much cheaper, via APG vs Waities, than the "cheaper" £1.25 ones. Not available to Northern Ireland, as relying on W comp. The "cheaper" £1.25 packs are more expensive as they do not compare and see you paying £1.25 as well as getting half-sheet rolls.
So, it's not "just" that it is comparing well, but also that it's comparing, technically, against the wrong W item.0
