I've sold a few more items, so more has gone out.
Will have a look at finances soon and see what payments I can make today.
I've started decluttering the kitchen, I've decided that will be my focus for the time being as it's really grotty. I got rid of some old pans and cooking trays yesterday - most going out for scrap but a couple of decent ones going to car boot. There are also a few bits of equipment that I don't use that has gone out to car boot.
I'm going to declutter, deep clean and then paint it. It's awful as it's so old, it never looks clean (it was put in in the 60s). I'm also contemplating stripping, sanding and repolishing the doors as I think they might look better if redone. However, I'll have to look up how to do it. The walls are shocking as they are artex and there's also loads of patches of plaster where tiles have been removed and the old heating system was taken out. I'm wondering if I can do some sort of temporary cover up for it all until the time comes that we can redo the kitchen. Anything I can do couldn't make it look worse than it does!
I'll see though, and have to get onto Google to see what my options are.
I also need to keep digging stuff out from elsewhere to list so I can get some more cash coming in to get everything cleared!
Enough to keep me busy after all"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks everyone
As it's the last day of unlimited free listings for me, I've cheekily ended all of my BINs and relisted them so I can get another 30 days for free.
Hopefully that will clear a good few more items.
Been busy sorting out things this weekend, and continuing with the great declutter.
I think DH wants to visit his brother today, but I'll probably not bother going and will stay home. I'd rather try and get on with things.
Don't think the weather is good enough for car booting today.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
