Hi, this also happened to me to with our daughters handset. After some digging I managed to email the Company direct. I was advised I would receive the refund given my daughter was a minor and she obv didn't realise this was subscription. After 14 emails back and forth over a month and a number of calls to the rudest Customer Service Department ever I still had no refund. I then done some digging I managed to obtain the CEO of the Company so I messaged him direct on facebook. No response. After more digging about on the internet I managed to obtain an email address for him. I sent the email chain to him last night and guess what???? The full refund was in my account today. Long and short of it - here is the email address for the Company direct supportuk@mobileacademy.com and here is the email for the CEO joost@mobitrans.net. His name is Joost Goeree. Hope this helps0

I noticed some charges that were on my mum's phone earlier this morning and emailed them straight away... she's not very IT literate so she doesn't know how it got there but clearly these people take advantage of loopholes that need to be filled by the mobile networks. As expected T-mobile weren't able to help and they referred me to Mobitrans (annoying). I have received a reply from Mobitrans saying they can't refund because of the terms and conditions... bla bla bla... boils my blood...sucking people's hard earned money out of their blood streams... and there's no one who can put this right on customers' behalf0

Definitely a scam, I have just hopefully unsubscribed by sending STOP MACADEMY to there text message.
Also I have emailed them letting them know how I feel, am just about to email EE to let them know the score.
Outrageous.
Good luck getting rid, and spread the word.
Happy Christmas to all.0 -
Had the same issue with my daughter's phone on T-mobile. She's reasonable tech savvy and has no idea how she could have subscribed to the site. She told me about the initial text she received from them and we instantly thought it was a scam and ignored it. Only when the monthly bill came with mobitrans mob itemised did we realise we were being billed. Had to do a bit of trawling to find their site before emailing them. Their customer support simply hide behind their terms of service agreement and tell me that my daughter must have subscribed. I guess it's one of those live & learn things.0

Hi all who have been fleeced by this company I emailed them with a copy of every penny they took from me.I got a response within less than 24hrs saying they will refund me(Seeing is believing)but to be honest didnt think they would even answer me.
They agreed my refund plus I advised them I wanted VAT paying back on it which was also agreed.
They also text me to say I had successfully unsubscribed from Mobileacademy without having to text STOP MACADEMY to 80206.
Lets see if it works -will keep you posted0 -
Hi guys just to let you know finally got my refund plus VAT today all £50. Dont give up it took me emailing non stop from 28/12/14 but thought it would be longer. They did ask for my bank details which is the IBAN (international bank transfer) detailsnname and surname and bank swift code or paypal to refund me.I was sceptical at first but wanted my money back.I went through all my phone bills on line and copy and pasted every penny incl VAT they took from me on a email as payments were being taken weekly. With VAT it totaled just over £45 but today they refunded £50.
Dont give up all keep on at them I emailed every day on supportuk@mobileacademy.com
I even emailed the CEO Joost Goeree but got automated email as he was away on holiday spending our hard earned money.
I even messaged him on facebook.
If anyone needs any further info let me know BUT PURSUE YOUR MONEY ITS RIGHTFULLY YOURS0 -
Hi there - I just wanted to see whether anyone has actually managed to get their money back from these people? So angry and they said they would refund but wanted my back details. Worried about giving this to them, I have sent them an invoice via paypal. They are now ignoring my many emails that I am sending them.
I have no idea how I even subscribed to this ridiculous service and I can't find a proper website for them. Also does anyone know where they are based?
EE have been extremely unhelpful and have basically said it's up to me to try and get money back.
Signed... angry..0
