Happy birthday LIR xx
Mine is not too far away now but the celebration has started a little early (over 3 weeks early!), Josh announced on my Facebook wall last night that he is taking me to see Nightwish in December! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Happy belated birthday, lir x0

Someone has been phoning me from an unknown number for months asking for the make and model of my printer. Unsolicited, of course. Each time, I tell her not to call me.
Today, she started speaking and I went straight in saying "How Do I Make You Stop" to which her reply was "Don't worry, you stupid cow, I'm going to phone you every single day..." which I interrupted by yelling "Foxtrot Yankee" at her several times ') because she deserved it and b) because it has already been in my mind that Martin's trick of swearing at people may actually make her stop by getting me blacklisted.
But !!!!!!??Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Keep a whistle by the phone and blow it really loud down the phone next time.
If she can still hear you after that, you can remind her that you asked her not to call and tell her that's what she gets for being rude to you.
Actually, that's probably not a good idea, as you said, she doesn't live in the real world. Does the trick of leaving the phone off the hook so she can't disconnect and make calls the other end still work?
Do you have her number? Perhaps all of the NP can call her and ask her what printer she has. Actually that's not very nice, none of this is very nice. Sorry for suggesting it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I would not advocate this usually, and certainly don't aim at the receiving bit of phone because could cause injury but maybe let off a rape alarm / personal alarm in the room next time she calls?0 -

I think it's allowed for NP's not to be nice in certain circumstances.
I keep getting calls telling me I had an accident recently.0 -

Haha, great minds....alarm/ whistle.....
I would avoid entering discussion with her though, that feeds any pleasure she is getting out of it.....
Can you tell your phone provider though? Take advice? While it might be unknown number to you it cannot remain so all the way along the line. Phone provider or police or someone could track if need be. But then...we record almost everything.0 -
