Back in the early 90's I had to attend a management type course.

I remember 3 things from that course, one of which was where to put your phone on the desk so that you weren't trying to cross hands / garrotte yourself with the phone cord while making notes during the call. I suspect that piece of information wasn't in the actual training brief, but it was very useful!

Reminds me of a good company slogan from a local solicitor not far from where I grew up called Leigh & Pfeffer: 'If you can't say Pfeffer, ask for Leigh'. Always liked that one.
