I know. He's eaten more than that in the past with no consequences. I'll keep an eye on him, but he's particularly good at vomiting that which he doesn't agree with.

Surely, a dog that has stolen Godiva chocolates deserves to die?

And what a way to go, eh? :)

    ... then I twist/lean over ...

Back in the early 90's I had to attend a management type course.

I remember 3 things from that course, one of which was where to put your phone on the desk so that you weren't trying to cross hands / garrotte yourself with the phone cord while making notes during the call. I suspect that piece of information wasn't in the actual training brief, but it was very useful! :D

We took the babies to the registry office today and so they now have birth certificates and officially have my surname rather than OH's. Sofia cried all the way home and Ella vomited on herself to celebrate.

Congratulations (for the first bits, not the last sentence) ;)

I'd never come across that before, or since.

I remember NDG saying that female barristers tend to retain their maiden name at work, as that's the name they qualify under and it's a right hassle to get it changed.

What if 2 double barrellers get together, do they then go quad-barrelled?

Just imagine trying to fit that on all those official forms which only give you a limited number of tiny squares to write your name in! :rotfl:

What happened to our 'Arctic Winter' and the one we were supposed to have last year…….and the year before…?

I love the DE weather forecasts. Highly entertaining and make a change from headlines about Princess Diana :D

There is a solicitors firm that has offices vaguely near my parents' house. The name always makes my mum and me chuckle: http://www.wrighthassall.co.uk/

    That's awesome! :D

Reminds me of a good company slogan from a local solicitor not far from where I grew up called Leigh & Pfeffer: 'If you can't say Pfeffer, ask for Leigh'. Always liked that one.

Good point. I'll remove the link! Would be obliged if you could too.

You'll have to make do with whatever photos I take. None of which are likely to involve me travelling down a mountain at speed :)

Edit - if you could remove both links (quoted and the one you posted). I've deleted my post. I'm identifiable via the other.

You will find the food better when you turn left.

One worrying sentence from your itinerary "No registration fees are used to fund alcohol served at this function."
