The babies have arrived. They were born at 5.15 and are perfectly formed. They have done nothing but sleep since except for a 20 min stint of feeding. Let's hope this continues!
Congratulations. Every happiness is wished for them. Enjoy them.

    Congratulations to chewy!

For some reason I thought that one of each were expected.

    This.

They'll be adults in the blink of an eye.

Talk to us when you can. No pressure.

First priority: keep mrs chewie in good spirits and happy.

Second priority; pretty much the same as the first.

Grab every opportunity for a sleep and avoid every opportunity to wake the babies up.

Find a peg for your nose for the first nappy changes. That's not a joke.

Expect to find a language divide with your childless pals, but an increasing understanding of your pals who are parents.

We have a private room which is a bonus, but this chair is not comfortable!

They are two girls, Ella 5lb 10oz and Sofia 6lb. Good size for twins. Both still eating successfully.

They both have a decent head of hair. E appears to be "strawberry blonde" like OH and S has brown hair.

    They are bloody noisy sleepers!

    Nice one chewy!

I went to see the Rheumatologist and feel much more optimistic about the future as a result.

Oh dear. I have a just over three-monther visiting on Sunday  Well, she's not so mobile that she's visiting by herself but still (actually, I'm pretty impressed that her mum wants to venture over here).

I've warned my friend that my house isn't particularly child friendly, but she's still keen. I'll be doing a lot of tidying and cleaning on Saturday I think!

Don't worry. I don't think she'll go anywhere just yet. The first time they roll is a surprise. Or roll in the other direction. Usually onto or off something :(

Beautiful names chewy. Congratulations to you both.

Gen, you sound much happier today. Glad to hear it went well yesterday.

The first 3 months is brilliant as they stay where you put them.

Not if you forget where you put them
