Shock horror we just had an offer on our old home!
Edited. Sorry if you missed it.
I'm feeling mithered!0 -

If you've not used yours by the time you come here again, it is compulsory that you bring it with you and we use it
The added 'fun' with mine is that because - for some reason I can no longer remember - I bought the biggest slow cooker imaginable, I will either need to cook catering-sized quantities (which is not such a bad thing if I can clear some space in my freezer) or work out how to cook smaller quantities (I seem to remember from the OS board that this is possible using a pyrex bowl).
In other over-the-top purchase news, I've just seen my new front door :j It's lovelyPopped in to pay a little more off it (bit of an MSE credit card shuffle), and the man mentioned I was stood right next to it. We'll need to wait for a couple of days of ok weather to get it and the frame installed, but there isn't a particular rush. I'd rather it was all done as well as possible.

Great start to the year though Maggie - fab that there is so much interest. Sending vibes for a decent offer sometime in the near future0 -
Re the slow cooker, I got a really cheap one from Asda (£7 as far as I can remember!) years ago.
They still do one the same on the Asda website:
Crock-Pot SCCPQK5025W - slow cooker but is £15 now.
It says 1 - 2 people but I could do a casserole, Bolognese, whatever, for two adults and two kids, generous portions.
Once I put it on in the morning when we went out for the day but the coach broke down and it ended up 'cooking' for about 14 hours, it was a bit dried up but not burnt and the house was ok!0 -
Maggie, how much will clearance cost, or is it something your oh plans to do?
Is it something that might facilitate viewings and if so should you proceed with that now rather than waiting for a sale if its not something you'll accept as a deal sweetener?0 -

Correct. A pool so small you can't swim in it. Generally in hot places where you want to be in the sun and dip into the pool to cool off, so more a cold-tub than a hot-tub.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I was just a bit miffed at having to bin what would have been a lovely pork and lentil casserole!0 -
