I've not had tartare sauce, so not sure what that tastes of. I probably didn't have mayo until my mid-late 20s. I stick with what I know
Ketchup's OK .... but fish fingers and salad cream's full of win
Salad cream is really just mayonnaise with vinegar added. So, that meets all the requirements of the 'chips with vinegar' and the 'chips with mayonnaise' brigades at the same time. I'm amazed it's not more popular.
Tartare sauce is really just like Heinz Sandwich Spread. Have you had that?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I apologise for my SE geography
it's near where Viva lives, if that helps.
I do have friends in KR, but also West Hampstead and Hampstead itself, some in Finchley, and Finsbury Park which wouldn't be a million miles away.
I was thinking Queens Park or Kilburn for exactly the reason you state, easier on the train. Not having an extra change removes an imponderable

It's exactly this. It's well over-due. Nothing's forever, as my grandma used to say, can always move if it's too much.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

I know I am doing something very, very bad.
Fir is a bit put out.
Today has defeated me, so I have gone to bed and taken the little two with me. This has been planned and we 're bringing one of the orvis beds up here at the weekend. But tonight I spread a flokati rug on the floor near the radiator. Dog dog like a good girl got on it and lay down. Kiwi is on the bed.
iKNOW, I should put him on the rug over and over again, ( I have down a few times) but I'm really tired.

Today has been a very, very emotional day. I had tears in my eyes, and I wasn't even there. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Mas, pm me with exactly where you will be working and I'll suggest some places to look. I used to do the journey the other way round, so have a good idea of some of the issues. I would not live on the line you suggested, it would take an age. I did the commute the other way round for a bit and it was rank (my town to S Hampstead). ....
There are a couple of websites to help people choose where to live, based on commute time in London.
I've looked at them before, but not knowing the areas, and having no need to know that stuff, I've no idea how good they are. e.g.
http://www.commutefrom.com/
http://traveltime.propertywide.co.uk/
http://www.commutermaps.co.uk/
And some extension for browsers, that works with Rightmove. http://commuterhomes.london/0 -

Ah thank you.
I promise you, it was very easy for her.
I, otoh am a bit of a wreck tonight.
I felt bad for dog dog being good, so called her onto the bed. So now there are five of us. At least it will be warm tonight.0 -

After her normal breakfast I knew I wouldn't want her to have supper but did want her to have a lovely last meal so she had lunch instead, she had fried eggs and bacon, American pancakes, and hot chocolate ( well, warm chocolate).
:kisses3:
I wouldn't mind that, as a way to go.

I hate commuting now but didn't mind it so much when I was younger and my life was outside the house rather than in it.
My offer of local lodgings while you get your bearings stands.I think....0
