Any way,
Then I got to the end and and he said, yeah, go on.. He really doesn't have that huge a day to day appetite.
Montaray Jack isn't cheese it's a cheese-style dining experience.0 -
My current argument is with the local council, which has outsourced the council tax department. They have decided to charge me council tax on a property I don't own. When I queried this, they said that I needed to prove that I don't own it, which is quite hard to do. In any case, the whole attitude is oppressive. What's even dafter is that I know who does own it, namely the council. You would think this could easily be sorted out, but no. So far, it has reached the third stage of the council's complaints procedure, and it's conceivably going to the ombudsman.
Go to the papers. Cue photograph of outraged local resident with arms crossed.
Doesn't the law say something about the accusers having to do proving?0 -

Someone used to have a signature on here along the lines of: "Never argue with an idiot as they drag you down to their level and beat you on experience".0 -

That was my first thought too.
I am not sure whether to be impressed or a little disgusted by myself. We didn't get back so late on Saturday morning - prob around 1:30, and I don't think I will have been asleep tool long after that.
I spent around 5 hours fully awake yesterday so was wondering how well I would sleep yesterday night. Turns out very well indeed - another 10 hours clocked up :eek:0 -

I had too much fun last night.
I have a viewing at 11.30. They may find me in bed, still

I don't know if I said before that we once looked at a flat. The open day started late. There was a bin bag full of bottles by the front door, the coffee table had traces of white powder, some shredded leaves and some torn pieces of cardboard on it and one of the tenants was lying asleep in bed with his laptop still open on a 'Gentleman's Website'.0 -

What PN said. From the pics the house should be able to do a lot of the 'talking' anyway

I don't have the time to move house right now.
I've just been downstairs. 'Someone' left the door open to downstairs. Yesterday, DD cleaned the kitchen beautifully, then made biscuits and caused armageddon. This morning, we've gone beyond that as Doozerdog has decided to eat a bag of flour from the side, walk it everywhere and vomit in the hall.
It does not look unlike your scene with the white powder, Generali!
I have called Doozer and gone back to bed.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I just looked in the handbag I took out with me on Friday night. It looks like I cam back with all the money I took out, and the three drinks tokens we were all given. I'm pretty sure no-one bought me a drink either.
So between the 'drinks on arrival' and the drinks on the table, there was enough to get very merry indeed. No idea how that passed the risk assessment that was no-doubt performed.0
