I'd rather have a poppy myself.

    My bil would LOVE these!

Unfortunately I have now filled a box with chocolates oranges, mince pies and other such fripperies. And as he never says thank you any way I feel disinclined. And poor with the car thing. But he would love this stuff.

Maybe I'll just have fir send him the link.

Got a merit overall on my masters. Relieved more than anything!

Nice one Mas. That's pretty amazingly impressive.

People seem to think I'm quite bright on this board but I have no real post grad qualifications. I've studied stuff post degree but nothing that required a degree first.

You beat me easily on the qualifications front.

I've become quite involved with the current bunch of grads and I find the way they deal with life amazing. Lots of people slag off this Gen Y/Millennial age group but I think they're bloody amazing. They seem to want to better themselves near constantly and drag their cohorts with them. I've been ask to speak to a Millennial group in a few weeks to talk about how you can embrace change.

I've never had "posh chocolates" like Hotel Chocolate/whatever.

    .
Its not that posh, its just, IMO nice ( and yes, not cheap, but not ' exclusive' or anything like that. They do very good low sugar / high cocoa milk chocolate.

I think they used to be more innovative in flavours actually, which is a great shame if that's dropped off. I might be wrong, I don't check that often.

    Excellent stuff! Well done Mas
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

It is annoying isn't it, in my day being young was all about nihilism and selfishness, the young ones refelcted student life, nowadays students ar epolitely serving you in the supermarket whilst studign full time :(
They're after some big cheeses .... who are stealing radiators TRVs.

Hmm, TRV theft, lets think about motive...

Chocolate is ok but if it didn't exist I wouldn't be upset - something wrong with me?
    I think....

I'm the same really. I eat it sometimes because it's there; I don't wake with any burning desire for it, nor do I hope/wish it's in one of the Xmas present wrappings, nor do I hope/wish for birthday presents to contain XYZ chocolates. When I was younger I did like to get some chocolates in the Xmas tree pile, just because they'd be "mine" and it was Xmas.... but that was more about getting presents befitting Xmas than needing chocolate. A friend found out I like liqueurs, so every year would get me the Asda bean-shaped chocolate liqueurs for Xmas, which was nice.

I never go into chocolate shops in towns.

Part for the central heating has arrived....but they are not coming out until Monday to fix it.

We'll manage but I am a little hmm about it, the heating was working better than it has for years before they decided to mess around with it! Blooming housing manager and her ideals, if there was a problem it would have been ok and I would have understood but the miracle worker gas safety check man got it all sorted last month so it was working great.

    Oh well......
