Meanwhile, over here, 2 lots of peanut butter are being recalled as the label doesn't say, 'May Contain Nuts'.

    !

Another glorious day over here. 30C and sunny. Mrs Generali and the Generalissimos have been away for most of the weekend so I've just lain around the house. I've been unbelievably lazy to the extent that I think I should get up early tomorrow to tidy up a bit.

I left a pizza outside the front door by mistake. Turns out that our blue tongued lizard that lives outside the front door is something of a pizza fan.

    Surprisingly good movie.

That sums up how I felt about it when DS insisted we watch it as a family.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I really want to see that. Thanks silver. A lady I used to know worked for Turing at Bletchley Park. She was convinced that he did not commit suicide as the Turing she knew wouldn't have done that. It was also obvious that those who worked with him at BP had a strong bond and he was a fantastic leader and educator to them.

    Peeing it down here.....

James and Josh are almost twins born 3 years apart, if Josh had arrived on his due day, they would have been twins 3 years apart as he was due on James' 3rd birthday.

James has been representing his uni in swimming this week up in the Sheffield area, he used to swim competitvely years ago and he has finally gone back to it. Ok, he is still building up his times but bearing in mind all the years that have gone past, the alcohol that has been drunk and less than stirling food choices, he can still do pretty fast swim times...well certainly good enough to qualify for the team anyway.

He will be in Norwich in two weeks, almost down the road!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Expensive hobby!
    Very expensive.
DS used to swim, gave it up a few years ago but I am still on the committee and involved with our local swimming club. Competition costumes costing over £200 a shot, can only be worn a very few times. Travel to meets, accommodation, entry fees - and all the training takes place early mornings (5-7 am) and evenings, maybe till 10 pm - it's no surprise swimming often loses out to other sports.
Numbers at Masters are often much smaller, especially if you choose your events carefully - I did think about getting back into that myself.

Freecycle filing cabinet giver never got in touch with me.
They often don't, although it works both ways with no responses. Really irritating!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just got back from Salsbury where all my normal shops have closed or are closing. I bought a nine pairs of socks from the place I buy socks which is going ( though they are staying elsewhere and on line) and we were going to what I think pn might remember as the sparkly shop, to buy something I think ( I got lion earings from there last year which I love and wear a lot) and its gone....
