Afraid I don't qualify Viva, I don't claim the relevant benefits to receive one. One of the annoyances of being disabled, using a wheelchair and crutches but because I don't claim DLA/PIP, I am in actual fact, not really disabled.
Family and Friends railcard http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/?utm_source=railcard.co.uk&utm_medium=portal&utm_content=more-about&utm_campaign=portal would be the one for you, I think - but you'd have to use it a few times to recoup the fee.
    Or group save http://www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk/tickets-fares/discounts/groupsave-tickets .

I can't tell you how much these "toys" annoy every fibre of my being:

"Early Learning Centre Beautician Dress Up Set"

so Isaac won't be getting one? how will he role play manicures or waxing without the outfit?

I recall there was a Foster's ad on the telly years ago which had the tagline- like an angel dancing on your tongue. But as the ad was in the UK maybe that's got no copyright relevance to Oz.

Anyhoo just travelled 400 miles north yesterday and woken up to find out how windy it can get in these islands. I waved at GDB, bugslet masomnia UKmaggie45 and allthssses in that order pretty much.

Fosters! Bloody hell, that's more like a homeless person sleeping on your tongue.

We tend to use the group save when we travel, saves a good amount to be honest.

One of the things we also use is the train's service for wheelchair users, we get to sit in first class each time (although I have to sit in my wheelchair rather than one of the seats) but without paying the extra. We don't get the extra bits attached to having a first class ticket like drinks and food but at least we get a quieter carriage (perfect for youngest) and more importantly, I am not constantly worrying about whether someone is going to half inch my wheelchair being stored with the bikes in standard class.

When James and I went to the O2, we had to go standard class (I didn't take the wheelchair...BIG mistake) and boy did I struggle with getting into and out of the seats, my body just isn't made anymore for scooting and bending at weird angles because the carriages were so packed:rotfl:
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Michaels I think of as the only NP that openly says they live near it. I can however think of at least a further two, plus a lurker who posts infrequently ;)

Berts is fab, well worth a visit. It has the useful stuff that you find at Lakeland, but with more of a personality.

I openly live near, though I think we need to change trains to get to Brighton.

I also think that the current lot are worse than FCC.

no offence Lir but I would have settled for just the beautiful curly long hair and forgone the falling over and fuzzy brain.

to get my current 'look' head to the. 'classics' section of M&S.it is truly style free, and although I did not consider myself elegant previously, relatively speaking I was. my shoes are ancient battered laceups that i jad thought i had thrown out, but oh found them and my splint works with them so I have grotty foot wear too.

glad to hear you are getting some help. you have an onerous lifestyle which must detract from the pleasure of it. It is hard increasing your outgoings for something like cleaning but you and fir need a bit of a break.

did he pursue the job that was closer to home?

No offense taken. I'dforego it all too :rotfl:.

That job started playing silly !!!!!!s. Fir's not interested in any of that sort of stuff at all. So he told them he wasn't interested in pursuing it if they could not play straight.

I'm also cooking my laziest fish supper 'tray break' tonight. Its lazy town here today. :)

Back in the day, ELC wouldn't have sold toys such as 'beautician' sets - everything had to be educational. How times changes when everything is about the bottom line.

What a judgmental bunch the NP are. More girls and boys will grow up to be Beauticians than rocket scientists and the fact that there are so many of them demonstrates that their is certainly the demand for these jobs and I suspect in what they do they make many other people happy. Can we really say that one sort of job is better than another? Is playing at being a beautician less educational than playing doctors and nurses?
    I think....

a multi skilled postie, what do vets know anyway that you cannot garner from getting up early, and studying letterboxes and envelopes.

all sorts of people are 'qualified' to advise me on the best way to recover. no snake oil but a myriad of exercise regimes and one or two magic bulllet routines that would have me right as nine pence overnight.

Another food thing - Graze. Snacks by mail. I found it very useful when OH was still working 3 days a week as it was finger food I could just grab for lunch. Not so keen on the sweet stuff apart from the flapjack, but their savoury and nutty stuff is nice.
