I too have been caught out by this scam and only realised a week ago when my credit card statement informed me of multiple charges due to over limit.
I have tried to contact the company by phone multiple times to receive no answer and my email was bounced back.
I've contacted trading standards on the advice of my credit card company who basically have washed their hands of it saying they've got a copy of the terms and conditions as this company was reported watchdog last year.
However this doesn't help me in my now dire situation of being £200 over my credit card limit with no income to pay it back!
My credit card was already a few pounds over limit when this unauthorised payment was taken so I do not believe they should have allowed that payment to go through as there were insufficient funds.
Do I have a claim with my credit card company on this point as I believe I have been treated unfairly?
Thanks0 -

It appears that your credit card people have decided that the transactions were not unauthorised.
In other words, your credit card company have decided the company are acting within the terms that you agreed to when you applied for your free trial.
Sorry that is not what you want to hear, but please do make sure you cancel your ongoing subscription, either through your credit card or the company, or you will lose even more money.
Why do you think you have been treated unfairly? By who?
You may well have been treated unfairly by the company, but your credit card people have done nothing wrong, have they?0 -
Hi everyone I got sucked in this as well. Bank have managed to catch one payment of £80 odd pound but one of £90 has come off. Very gutting lol. I have tried to find contact details for Ketoneslim and SuperKetone but as this is a major scam it is hard to come by an emails address, phone number, address - I would be grateful if anyone has them to hand would be so appreciated. Thanks very much0

RIP-OFF MERCHANTS
Also I fell for it and ordered Keytone Slim XT and Cleanseprem; when I received the email of what I thought of their products I could not be bothered to reply so just deleted it; then I was charged over £90 for Keytone and over £80 for Cleanseprem.
I was seething and phoned them, threatening court, media, Martin Lewis etc. I must say she was very calm and friendly and told me it was in the small print. Small print should be large print!.
She told me to send the bottles back, empty or not. So I sent 2 empty bottles back..!! How stupid is that?? And asked for a proof of posting.
One week later heard nothing, phoned again and a calm and friendly man told me they had not received the bottles (the Post Office is pretty reliable these days) and did I send these by registered post? No, I didn't as I was not told to the previous week!
Because I got really angry again, as well as threatened them, he said 'alright alright, I'll refund you the money - minus £10 per bottle' which I accepted (I suppose I should have replied to that email) and received the money into my account yesterday. Phew.... when will I ever learn?!
I still take the tablets - after all I paid for these - and haven't lost an ounce...
DO NOT BUY - THEY DO NOT WORK - WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND HASSLE.
What they are doing is unethical.
The telephone number I phoned was 020 3695 3806. I also informed my bank who won't let it happen a second time.
If the payment was taken within lat 120 days if you read my posts I give precise instructions on how to get money back . I recovered £380 through disputing it as an unauthorised payment voa the chargeback scheme. With keytone slim xt I guarantee that you can win as i have given exacty instructions on how to prove they alter the checkout pages to ones with NO terms or any mention of autoship0 -
I *stupidly* ordered a trial of Ketone Slim XT - it was late at night, and I saw some 'reviews' (which on further research appear to be paid advertisement articles) and thought - yeah ok for the sake of £4.95 I'll give it a go. I immediately realised how stupid I was when the terms and conditions popped up after submitting card details and saw that they will charge £90 after the 14 day free trial. (and also that if these really worked they wouldn't need to use these forms of advertising/ I would know about it etc etc)
Once I had realised this I emailed them straight away and said I had changed my mind and no longer want to continue with the trial. I actually sent two emails and didn't receive a response to either. I wish I had followed up and made sure this had been actioned now!
I saw a pending 'card not present' transaction on my bank account today of £90 from Ketone and called them straight away - they said my trial had not been cancelled and as the 14 days expired yesterday that there was nothing they could do, however no more money will be charged to my account.
I called my bank (Lloyds), who were extremely helpful and will be refunding the £90 (as I have written to Ketone and cancelled within the 14 days) and they will now monitor my account for any further transactions from Ketone.
I read through the t&cs today in regards to cancellation and found some conflicting info. One part says you must 'contact' their customer support, the next section says you must 'call'.
I should add that I haven't even opened the bottle, as I imagined that I may need to return etc. It looks like I will need to return from the t&cs.
My questions are - if the t&cs are conflicting, will I be ok with having emailed them? and question 2 - As the bank have now cancelled the transaction how likely are ketone to come after me for £90 anyway, especially if I return a full, unopened bottle of the tablets.
*lesson learnt*
Thanks in advance for responses
If ketone slim xt criminals dispute the refund they use a company called chargebacks nine eleven who send the bank a screenshot of a checkout page which is NOT like the one you purchased from. The one they send they bank has tick box agreeing terms which would be visa complian. However these criminals are undertaking a fraud becuase they have many checkout pages and many have no terms and conditions and they revolve the checkout pages between visa compliant pages and non visa complaint pages
If ketone slim xt fraudsters did dispute the refund simply look at the posts where i give precise instructions on how to print out a non compliamnt visa page on their website and print that out and send to bank and say the page was like the one i show which has NO terms on at all and you enclose the proof of their fraud
Basically I found this page and its like catching them out in fraud because many people purchased and dont remember seeing the terms when they purchased and when they go back to look at the site again see the terms and think they missed reading them as they were small text . But in fact what you may not realise is that the criminals revolve the checkout pages with ones with no terms or mention of autoship program when they pay for facebook or google or any kind of adverting campaigns
So any mention of them wanting money back or if you have been scammed by this company by debit or credit card simply send the screenshot i give details of and you will get your money back under the chargeback scheme like i did0 -

I saw the advert on FB and thought this sounded a really good way of losing weight and I signed up for my free trial run with Ketone Slim. I ticked on the terms and conditions not realising that you had to cancel withinin 14 days if this and this wasn't the product for me (I have not lost weight like they claim you do!! I thought see how I go, give it a trial run for 1 month. Ketone Slim sent me the product again, through the post, after 1 month trial - which I never ordered!!! To my avail and disbelief they deducted £92.78 for Ketonexs and £89.47 for xpurify. I couldn't believe what they charged me for this product, I'm totally outraged - I rang the company Tele 029 2168 0129 (UK) and they told me that I signed up for this and ticked on the Terms Conditions and should have cancelled within the 14 days. I said I want a total refund and I will send the product back. They said to me I could not do this, but would refund me £90 in the next 2 days and send me an email verifying this (I have heard nothing).
The next steps you need to do:-
Inform your Bank ASAP. Cancel you credit card and issue a new one. Make sure you speak to Fraud Team/lost or stolen card Dept!. They will issue you with a new card.
Email the company, Ketone Slim, saying that you have been mislead, asking for a total refund back into your account and an explanation (I wrote on Sunday 30/11/2014 and I have not had a reply) and probably never will!!
Keep a copy of your email you have sent them (as proof). Take copies of the Despatch Note.
Send your Ketone Products back (unopened), Delivery Notes and Email you sent them, back to the company i.e. Healthy Nutrition ltd, 196 Caerphilly Road, Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales, CF14 4NR, UK. Make sure you send it Recorded Delivery.
This is now in the hands of my Bank, Fraud Team, they told me to keep all the evidence, stating that you did not want the product. I have got to check my bank account within 10 days. If it is not refunded I have got to refer back to my bank. It is in the hands of them now to get my money back and investigate the matter further.
Good luck. Hope we all get our money back. Will keep you informed. let me know if any of you guys have had a total refund or any monies back??
Jayne
good luck on getting your money back I got £380 back by disputing the unauthorised stealing of my money . they are criminals and they revolve the checkout pages between visa complain pages and ones with no terms at all. If you print out their secret checkout page i show on this site which has no terms and proves the company also faked the womens helath magazine I think you will have enough proof to guarantee you wil win a chargeback whether by visa or debit card0 -
Another victim
my wife has done the same thing. We rang them up to get a refund but they told us we were passed the 14 day trial and so no refund.
We have now contacted the bank and they will open an investigation. We have been told to send them all the evidence we have. Has anyone successfully disputed after the 14 trial and got their money back?
We did argue that technically not 14 days yet as they were going by the day the dispatched and not the day received. Anyone got any advice or what to send the bank to strengthen the case?
How does paying £8 for delivery cost end up authorising a direct debit for £180? We used to have to sign DD before they were authorised. Should the banks be doing more to prevent this happening, like on the payment screen have the in a separate section for DDs and confirming month amounts?? make these stand out. Even a confirmation box to say you agree to make a payment and another tick box for agreeing to set up a direct debit.
So frustrating that they are getting away with this. surely we can do more to stop them? Its more annoying now that they have perfected this over the years so new people fall into their trap and cant do anything. Stopping this company from taking anymore innocent peoples money is more important than getting my own back.
Has this company been on BBC watch dog yet? can we contact them?0 -
Hi I've just realise I've got caught up in this scam..its only been 4 days so I'm trying to cancel the free trial I have emailed by return my intention to cancel and am now writing to back this up using the return address details on the packet po bx 7581 milton keynes mk 9ha. Just to be sure I checked the web to confirm the address and the post box no. And postcode numbers are different, and now I notice a Cardiff address is quoted on the forum.. I'm thinking of writing to all three, any suggestions or clarification would be appreciated. Cheers.0

Hi All
I also fell for this while browsing FB in post holiday mode. Completely out of character for me and something made me google the product a couple of days later and this forum popped up. So, I emailed the company, tried a couple of numbers that had me hanging on then cut the line. Realising this was a waste of time I called my bank and spoke to a very helpful person who immediately cancelled the CPA. In the meantime, had a response to my email with a different telephone number which when I called did not exist. I therefore replied, told them the number did not exist and that as far as I was concerned I had given them appropriate notice and they needed to sort out their own internal affairs. They can't take any money without a CPA and can't resubmit according to my bank - who has the power now? Don't get stressed dealing with these fraudsters, talk to your bank who are on your side and they will help.0
