Get it out of you Pigpen, one way or the other. You'll feel so much better.

Car pooh-picked. I parked it under a tree last week, the last place on The Hoe available, and while it's been raining the stuff was all still soft enough to just pick off. Thank you L!d1 for throw away latex gloves. Then I washed all the paintwork, windows, lights and other various sparkly bits and it looks almost as good as when OH had it valeted about 10 days before I parked it under the pigeon festooning tree. Oops.

Whole house vacuumed, apart from a few stairs here and there, RoD made into a civilized space and futon made up for a couple of nights, and paintwork wiped down where Mrs Dog has splattered it with a good shake. Why not just paint the whole place dark grey so the dirt doesn't show? So much simpler. In fact, genius idea. Now all I have to do is persuade OH - not happening apparently.

I'm jumping in the bath for a long soak to avoid a caller I don't want to have to say No to in a rude way - he just won't be told politely. Then I'm going out for a hot chocolate with a friend (which counts as a business meeting), then OH is taking me to Wevverspoons for a steak and the flicks. A date!
    Better is good enough.

Mrs MP I hope you're leg's a bit better now; it does sound as though something unpleasant took a chunk out of you - horsefly, maybe?

Piggers no you won't die, but I do sympathise, it's always unpleasant in the extreme being what a colleague always called "uncle d!ck". Feel-better vibes for you.

HB dusting mitts sound like something that might work for me... did you make them yourself? Glad to hear that there's nothing untoward with Mrs Dog's wee test. Some dogs do better on several small meals daily - little Mary was very much a "three meals a day" girl.:o

Not entirely sure what I did yesterday, but woke up with horrendous backache. Have taken day off flying, but DS1 has cleared half the rubbish in front of garage - fair enough, it was his stuff!

Pigpen - hope you feel better soon.

hope you feel better soon pigpen.

full mot as doc wanted student to check all my 'issues' - lump in chest refered to hospital (shes sure its nothing but said shell feel happier if she refers it). weird itchy mark on back thats been there ages -she doesnt know but told me to get appt with senior dr before he retires at end of month no appts available but i can go down 15 mins before surgery opens on thurs as he has 4 appts to fill that day but they cant be prebooked, if i dont get one she'll tell me the next available day to try again. leg isnt infected its a reaction to a bite so im on steroids and have been warned to expect to feel a bit manic tonight and have weird dreams or nightmares as ive had to take them a bit late in the day. next couple of days should be ok as i get to have them with breakfast so should be in the system by evening. something to look forward to me being manic and bouncy at tonights full govs meeting. i feel i should just send apologies in now not for non attendance but how i might behave LOL

hope all are well and got on better than me with todays lists, im going to do a paper copy and hopefully play catch up before putting puter on in the morning

Mrs MP I don't know if they mentioned it, but steroids can also make you feel you want to eat anything that isn't nailed down. Just thought I'd mention it, as I have prior experience.;)
Hope your meeting this evening goes OK - and have you warned Mr MP that you might be manic tonight?? ;););)
