I'm all huffed.. I'm selling all my crap on ebeast.. collecting all the quids in my paypal so when our car goes back next December we can hopefully get the grand voyager.. new to us ;) .. MY stuff, MY paypal, MY bothersome work.. I don't drive so OH will be driving it.. it's the one he likes.. yet I, apparently, an not good enough to have a pretty ring.. DD1 was looking at engagement rings and some are really nice.. I'm selling mine and my wedding rings.. into the car pot.. it's about £1400 value just the engagement ring so if I got half that I'd be a happy bunny.. plus the few quid for the wedding rings.. but I can't have a ring because they are too expensive!! ... well.. FU Mr. I may just buy my own!!

I am now in an @r$e.. I might not put the money from MY jewellery and My stuff into HIM a car I might put it into driving lessons for myself and buy a much cheaper car and not let him have a turn!

Pigpen - I would do just that. Have something nice for yourself as you deserve it.
Why shouldn't you have some lessons and a car ??? Make the time to do something for you as you spend so much time doing things for others that they can't complain and maybe can help.

Pigpen, at the risk of alienating you, I have to say: 'If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.' The two choices that have already been suggested (buying your own ring - although for feminists it's symbolic bondage, so I'm ringless but do it if it floats your boat) and, much, much more importantly - learn to drive. It'll mean you never have to wait around for someone to drive you again, thus freeing up loads of time. End of lecture.

I love my bed, so the fact that I woke up at 5.40 this morning and was just bored listening to the radio is new behaviour for me. Up at 6.40, several windows vinegared, RoD floor partially cleared, sewing machine put away *sob* for 72 hours and other assorted carp rehomed. *virtuous* (Not a feeling that I get very often so I'm making the most of it.)
    Better is good enough.

LOL.. Honey you won't alienate me, I'm a blue alien already.. or my neighbours look at me like I am.. ;) .. I'll be better soon.. I'm just feeling unwell and needy I think.. but I know what I would say to someone in my position.. I'm currently wearing a 3 band wedding ring I bought myself, I just want a sparkly one because I'm a girl lol I got engaged on my 16th birthday and wore a ring for 20 years.. I couldn't adjust to not wearing one so bought this one.

Cracker at vet at 11:50.. I'm hoping I feel well enough to take some drugs in a minute because I feel horrific at the moment :(

One of the dusting mitts is feeling a bit frayed, but they work! Lots of dusting done, and filing. Things are improving, slowly.

Back from the hosp. Traffic was rubbish so we only just made it!

One of our old neonatal nurses was working there which was lovely and she put us in with consultant not registrar which was good. He was really good and asked lots of questions and was very attentive and didny fob us off. She's got to go for an ultrasound to check her bladder n tubes are ok and some blood tests too. We talked about her behavioural stuff too and if nowt comes frkm medical tests she will be sent to community paediatric although he doesnt think it fits with autism or anything so that's good.

Dropped off incy blankets to nnu too and had a natter.

    Right. Time to start bathroom.

CP glad your medical appointment with DD went well

Briefly read Finance docs for tonight and printed off what I need, I'll annotate later with a cuppa.

Had a couple of brief power cuts here.

Mopping and hoovering to finish before DS3 gets home I think.
