Its very comfy but the gear box is a bit stiff.

Mine has a stiff gear lever too, but as I was saying last week, one's body/expectations adapt to quirks like that, so it eventually becomes normal.

I think even bums must change shape, or something, as seats which seem weirdly unsupportive also improve once they've been sat in for a few thousand miles.

The only exception to that is the van, which remains Teutonically disinclined to make anyone so comfortable that they might nod off. That would be inefficient. ;)

OH had a very sore wrist a few years back when we had the van with a stiff gear change. It was only when he changed to the car that it sort of dawned on him what had caused it.

Quite a stiff breeze here with amazing cloud formations. Just watched a string of deer walk the ridge on the skyline & disappear over the back.

    Venison would be nice..............

    Oh no, chair is divine.

When I was a little girl an woman with one took me under her wing a bit. I realised yesterdAy I was slightly echoing her body language while driving, lol. Snapped out of it and found me again pdq. Things like having arm rests and stuff should really help my aches and pains I hope. We'll see. :)

Just back from a coffee morning for charity at the cat ladies house down the road. Lots of people there.
Won a choc orange in the raffle :EasterBun
And bought some fab homemade cakes - buttermilk crumb cake, ginger shortbread and carott cake :dance::dance:

And been given some homemade mince pies in thanks for eggs from the girls :D

Met some new people from the village. A very sad lady who is incredibly lonely while her husband is away, but I think she puts people off a bit as she is rather negative as she is so unhappy. Given her my phone number, hope she will pop round for a cuppa.

And a lovely mother and daughter who are just as potty about their dogs as I am - so good company. We swapped dog stories.:D Then there is the lady down at the road who used to work at the solicitors who did our conveyancing. She has given me the name of a good plasterer - handy as the swirly artex ceiling in the living room is going to have to go.

    My cup runneth over :D:D:D:D
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

    Alfie,

    Please don't hate the kiwi.

Most of the chickens wouldn't go in to the big house this evening. Kiwi ran in and woomph.......killed a vixen waiting in there for the rest of the birds.

    :(

I know, and if he hadn't I'd be posting

' I lost loads of birds again'.

But its still a weird one. I'm both sad and proud.

Did you lose any birds, lir?

A bit stunned by kiwi; he cannot be much bigger than a vixen?

We like foxes on the lots; but we have no hens. They keep the rats down; just wish they were as good with pigeons.
