:shhh: Rather quiet on the Daydream Front!
Perhaps if I had CTC's 'bush cam' I might spot a rare glimpse of a fellow poster.....or maybe they're all in the Cyberman's Arms, celebrating this day of homage to the great god, Amazon???
Anyway, I hear Monday was a murky day in most places. Not here!
Bit chilly tonight though.Big Aga switch-on happens Wednesday.

I had thought I might do some of that fruit tree pruning today but I, um, slept. And picked up the new car. And slept some more. Now I've progressed to sitting, and could prune, but its too dark.
Japenese quince one has been out a while, wall flowers starting to bloom, and I think my some of my lilac is trying to pop out too,!!!!!
Does this mean spring/ early summer is going to look bleak?
Tomorrow will try and do the one pear tree looking a bit in need and maybe the closer apple trees.0 -

Still shattered after a sunny afternoon at the lottie yesterday. OH planted some more shallots, we still have a few more to go in, but it was so grey and cold by the time he got back from visiting his Mum in nursing home this morning we both decided we'd leave it for now. I rather think we have some more garlic to go in too, plus the leftover onions still to be planted in the garden at home.
I weeded the "herb patch" - not much in it really, oregano, thyme, chives, parsley and tarragon. But it took ages as the couch was beginning to take over again around some of it, so had to take it slowly to avoid digging up the herbs! Then I did some more random weeding along the edge of the plot. This regularly needs doing as the grassy pathways between plots are all made up of couch grass! Think we were there about 2 hours. Still got spicy cut and come again salad growing, and though we ripped up a lot of the nasturtiums (they were rather taking over the plot) we still have some in flower.

Hi all - hope your colds/lurgy clears soon all who are afflicted.
Alfie you sound like you made a great bunny.
Hope piglets well CTC. Vets are expensive here if you call them out. Last time I caught one on his way somewhere else & I was £100 for sheeps eye problem.
Rained very heavily all day. I had a lot of sales so busy packing.
Been spending quite a time listing stuff. It does take a while, but desperate for all the extra pennies as need out of the caravan asap.
Moved the sheep down off the hill yesterday, but one lamb didn't seem to want to come, so had a heck of a job & three times around the lower part I was jiggered. Someone I know stopped & came to help - what a relief.
Need to get some other stuff done apart from ebaying, but these half light miserable days make me want to sleep.0 -

Old dog was sick twice on the carpet
Her tummy is still rumbling omniously (and there is substantial gasous displacement too) and my tummy isn't much better
Mr BD is happy as he got the part he wanted in Sweet Charity.
Watched the mid season finale of The Walking Dead, earlier and my heart rate is only now settling down, I'm just too much of a wimp.:o
Tiler came and grouted in the utility. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
