    you can buy a new model,...

    I think they're called Nutribullets :)

    Popped into local(ish) garden centre after visiting Travis Perkins. They were doing 2-for-1 on "Bishop of Llandaff" and I also picked-up some Growmore. All the plants are looking yellow so I thought a boost would help after the winter rains.

    Dave - sorry to hear of your continued worker problems.

    Got the wave & coil stuff in at the front of the house - well the 2 lads did, but I got really fed up with the duff duff music belting out of the car & the whole noise of them chuntering on talking rubbish & laughing at just inane nonsense ....sorry, feel like I'm in a very old grumpy cow mode.

    Any one got any thoughts on weed suppressant cover that I can put down before chips are laid?

    CTC - that is a very handy neep chopper. I would like one. There's one down the road at a nasty neighbours not being used, but I can't ask them for it - they'd say NO!

    OH saw a client today who spent 2 months of the Winter in Spain & is really gonna do it more often.

    Today can't seem to make its mind up...dark cloud, sunshine, cloud, meh. All a little mixed and we are due rain later and it rained through the night. I have lots to do as I am trying to weed, dig over and then re-edge my biorders at the moment. Did some last week but more to do.
    No sign of my dahlias in pots in the greenhouse. I suspect they are all dead :(

    Tip them out and see. Many of mine aren't showing yet, but they are there in the pots, thinking about it. :)

    Caught near the far end of the field when a hailstorm blew up. Saw it coming, but I couldn't make it back in time to avoid a drenching.:mad:

    Almost finished cutting back the hedge behind the sheep fence, but it looks as if the rest will have to wait till the autumn when I'll return with a powerful pole saw and begin knocking that road hedge into shape.

    Been helped today by Heath Robinson...that's right, put out plants which have been in the conservatory and TBH couldn't be doing with lugging them to and fro over days for 'hardening off'. Hopefully this will stop cooler night air getting to the buds.

    Hidden away is sophora microphylla ‘Sun King’, passion flower and star jasmine which are hardyish, but may take a set-back if left unprotected.

    My sophora has sat outside the back door in its pot for the last 5 years. Sometimes it falls over and sometimes one of us waters it.

    It's a good job there isn't a RSPCP ! :rotfl::o

    Very cold day here.

    Noticed that the top of the Eucalyptus looks a bit frazzled. It got frosted a few years back, but it looks a bit dead at the top. I think it's the too harsh sea wind that's doing it in.

    Car would restart when we were out - the immobiliser came on - goodness knows what happened, but it did eventually restart after getting pushed - quite worrying.
