    I'd rather eat worms.

No post today, but turned out the Postie died this morning. Don't think there'll be any tomorrow either.

Had to do a survey in a house where the tenants had left most of their stuff, just a complete mess & tangle of stuff.

Lovely day here....which makes such a change.

Sorry to hear about the postman choille, how old was he??

There is a blue sky here this morning too, but looks cold out there..

I mentioned on a few fb pages about the mealworms, and a few people have messaged me to ask where I got them from, got my brain ticking now lol...

What a snooty vet yesterday with Lola!!

They have given me some peppermint liquid to give her an hour before food, I got to put her back on 6!! Small meals a day ( she is on 2 meat meals now, and has dried down all the time to nibble on)

Also gave me a diff wormer that covers lung worm ( just incase)

And then put the heebee geeebees up my by saying if that doesn't cure it then it's a serious investigation into her throat, stomach etc:eek::eek:

And bloody typical, when we came back from the vets, she didn't do it all night!!

    £58 for the pleasure!!

We had the third degree talk , asking if were intending to breed from her, and I said no, waiting for her to have a season, and then getting her spayed ( don't think I could ever part with her puppies if she did have a litter) and she jumped on her high horse and said you can spay a girl dog before she has a season!! And when I said I had heard it's best to let them have one season due to hormones etc, she agreed with me??

Think I will phone up next time and see the farm vets I have seen before..rather than the ' pet vet'

Back in the loop again, maybe! I've been reading, but not posting. :o

Tuesday was mad. We had the electrician here at silly o'clock in the morning. He'd spoken to friendly plumbers, who'd advised him that our plumbers way of doing stuff wasn't 'wrong,' just old-fashioned, so he was back to have a second wire-up of the heating, while the other two finished a couple of other small tasks. ;)

Then it was off to Bristol to our friend's funeral: not too morbid an affair, due to her instruction that we should all wear bright clothes and have a good time. Even the vicar joined in like that, although it wasn't in a public church, nor was it really a 'normal' service, but a bit of a mix. It was exactly what I'd have expected; she'd covered all the bases! :rotfl:She was 3 years younger than me, knew she hadn't long and planned the whole thing. Always a great planner. :A

We managed Tueday well enough, returning just in time to lock the birds up, but yesterday we were back to feeling poo again. :(

It really didn't matter, as we were battered by high winds from morning till evening without any let-up. We also found out that now we can't have heating without water heating, so it still isn't right. Grrr!

Things are much calmer outside this morning. It feels spring-like out there......I have toms and peppers to pot-on. :)

Good idea to treat for lungworm, CTC, even if snooty. :T

I had that in the back of my mind tbh..

It was the spaying snooty bit I didn't like lol..

We had talked about having a litter from her, but I know we would end up keeping the litter, and in reality there is no real good reason to breed from her.
Even though she is the one and only to us, at the end of the day, she is just another cross jack russel ..

Glad the funeral went well ( as far as funerals go) .. I like funerals like that.. It reflects who the person was.

    Losing my posts this morning.

Postie was about 60 ish I think. Was just speaking to him on Saturday - he took an interest in my sheep.

Lovely day here again so done mountains of washing. Good to see clear blue skies.

Went over a few days ago to look at the replacement eco wood boiler/stove/cooker thing & leave a deposit so that will be great once we have it all sorted out.

Lady supposed to be coming Sunday for the rayburn, but don't have the 'men' organised yet to get it out. I am so stressed about this. Will be good once it's all done & new one in.
Shouldn't really talk about clients, but went to one yesterday that is in their new house & she was moaning about the stress of the joiner not putting a fitted bin under the sink as 'I'm not havin' a bin kicking about on the floor'. they have not lifted a paint brush or removal box.....

    Don't start me.
