Ah, we had him in 2012, when we were sending up Robin Hood.

He was [STRIKE]Will Scarlett[/STRIKE] Will Pinky and he carried a basket of buttons and bows so the Merry Men could wear their green hose fashionably and always look their best! :rotfl:

I've just spent an hour looking through 6 years of Panto photos, laughing at some of the bonkers stuff we've done and marvelling at the costumes. There's so many talented people here....
The photos I have are just quickies taken by DW in dress rehersals. The 'real' ones and the video come later.

Here's another where I'm threatening the hero, Harry.

It's Puss (in Boots) who defeats me a few minutes later....and he's only 12 :o

Just a little. Nothing you'd notice, without looking hard....or was it me trying to look hard? I forget. :D

I'm glad I didn't get the part of Ogre. He couldn't remove all the green from his beard between shows.:(

It all looks really colourful & vivid.

Good on everyone getting involved - I think it's marvellous.

There's nothing happens here. I think it's probably because of there being over 50% 2nd home ownership & those are only lived in for a few weeks a year.
Something like what you are doing dave will really be good for all of the community - IMO.

Feel really tired - must be the freezing weather. Off to bed.

People need something bright like that at the end of winter.

The scenery is industrial waste cardboard, painted with scrap paint from the trading estate by one person. The costumes are like old friends and get re-hashed regularly; some go back, well over a decade. It's virtually cost-free.

For two hours we lead folks into this surreal world, where they can forget the present and just follow the twists of our crazy stories and antics. All that's down to very talented writers.

I think we almost believe it too, sometimes! It's good just to escape everyday worries. :)
  • That is an amazing amount of money to make.

You a double ganger for Jason king!!

The only reason I remember him, was that the first dog we had when I was small was named Jason, after him. He was a boxer, still have his dog tag somewhere lol

Mil still in hospital, but she is alot better, no more away with the fairies so to speak.. But she has gone very quiet now, prob very tired after it all, they are waiting for social services to put things in place before they will leave her out, which could be any day now..

Everything has been on hold. So apart from seeing to the animals nothing else has been done...
