FK - I am also finishing last year's lambs.
Hope things are okay with you - sounds like you have big changes happening.
The caravan is pretty unheavalish, but just can't seem to fit things into neat piles/places. What an uproar of chaos. I washed the caravan curtains today as the washing machine was fixed earlier. They've all shrunk - not a little, but about 6 inches! Well at least they got a good blow on the line.0 -

can someone let me know if this runs to the end please ? it keeps stopping half way for me ??
No, it stops for me too. I think he probably hit a bum note and said something they don't allow on the Beeb.
Sorry we didn't connect over the splashback FK.:o I was rather hoping DW had forgotten about it......
Now it's me that's trying to forget it! :rotfl:0 -
Lurking here....and I watched it ....and got the lot. No naughty words and he got a round of applause at the end from the congregation, who looked like they had thoroughly enjoyed it.
Bit different...thought it was quite nice.
edit: maybe its an Internet speed thing. When mine is actually working normally (when.....) I get about 16.0 -
morning all...
cooler [yesterday was 18-20d] today with drizzle , but we desperately need it !
re video clip.. I got it on FB and it runs fine there and that's where I got the link, I think MTSTM has hit it, its maybe speed of tinternet ...
old girl had her ears cleaned last night to see if her "deafness" is helped ? shes ok but not herself and somewhen between now and appointment I have to get pee sample.. I raced out after her this morning but she was faster than me ... so will be trailing her lunch time ...
FK... you sound hectic ! I thought your OH was "on leave" and had other job offers, hope it all works out ...
right ive got to shift myself, gotta remember where im supposed to be when today ...
have a good day y'all.0 -
I think my speakers have gone on the laptop so I couldn't hear a thing - which is annoying.
Hope horse is got & pee extracted! Can't be an easy task = I wouldn't envy you that.
Midgied to heck here - black & thick & low cloud. BIL arrives later & the caravan is a midden. OH has just dumped a wheelbarrow load of stuff on top of the new, still polythene clad bed in the house - not speaking to each other!0 -
Oooo what a night... Monsoon rain
Fk I know we got lots on , and loads to work out etc, but if you need a hand with anything let me know....
Going off to llandovery today to have a look at the cooker thing that my parents said they would buy me as an early 50th birthday pressure I think I posted a link to it a while ago, but going to take some pucs of it, so will post some later..
Alfie, hope old gal is OK...Work to live= not live to work0 -

That's a real townie speed!
Until June, out here, I was on 0.5mb.
Now I'm on 3.5, maybe 4 on a good evening, which is OK, but some villages are soon going Infinity.
Let them. We don't want Sky, BT Sport, or whatever. Our PVR stores up 500gigs of stuff from Freesat in the summer, and we still can't keep up with that when the darker nights arrive.:rotfl:0 -
Well, the kitchen flooring bloke rang this morning to say he'd be here at 5pm!?!?
So, does this mean we're being fitted-in at the end of a long day, or is he just coming to suss things out?
While I've learned not to question too much, this is definitely a weird one! I hope he realises that we have no electric light in there, though I've rigged up a fluorescent tube, but the major problem is that it's not a half-hour job.....I thought maybe half a day.
Meanwhile, the accounts dept have now written rescinding their offer last week of lumping our extras into the final payment, as they are 'much more' than anticipated.
Hmmmm...:(
I'm not sure how much they thought a full complement of Neff appliances would come to, but it obviously wasn't going to be pocket money. I felt the situation fair, because thanks to an ongoing supply fiasco with Bosch, Neff, Siemens, no one is 100% sure of when their kitchen will be totally complete.
I'm reluctant to part with most of the cash....and I won't till I see what happens next.0 -

Yes I said that...because I remembered your comment about your slow speed and thought that might be your personal explanation...
Mygawd - I think I'd give up and get satellite broadband (expensive as I understand it is) if that was what I had. I've been used to 3 and it was reliable before I moved - so 16 is an improvement (but I have the huge unreliability factor - which I'm still working on sorting out). Living in Back of Beyond I find it vital to have a good reliable connection.0 -
my broadband comes from a dish that bounces a signal from IOW to a water tower other side of river then to me. it works !!! my "Bu**er This " connection was .5... it costs me £30 a month, expensive but it works !!!!
old gal saw the vet and shes being treated for a urinary infection although the carefully caught pee showed very low count. vet thinks we have caught it earlyshe had a shot and tabs for a week. then she is starting on some anti-inflamatories for her joints, will see if it helps. otherwise vet was impressed with her abilities/health for 14 years old. :j
I took my man to the airport this afternoon and half way there realised there was a jam jar with old gals pee in his door pocket ,I was praying he didn't see it and ask what it was... :rotfl:
funny isn't it how your heart stops till the vet smiles...0
