The mouse has been captured and set free :j

I walked in to check on the budgie and was met by a tiny little mouse face peering back at me  mercifully our budgie has a ludicrously large cage so could keep away from the invader. The next 5 mins were like a comedy sketch with me trying to catch a leaping mouse while a less than amused budgie flapped past all with my arm through a very small hole :rotfl: Not an event I wish to repeat!

Dull cloudy and threatening to rain here :( I think we may need to relocate as this summer has been dire.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Was really nice here. The seat of my lawn mower was soaking with my sweat though ( yuckity yuck) as I got all the grass in the gardens done and down round Lake Cake ( but not the veg garden patch). We also got some clearing around our back garden trees done and some pot tidying up. :).

I've got a nasty stony bit of ground I am thinking of tarting up for some autumn/winter colour. I have done poppies there before but it was not impactful enough. Do not want to spend a fortune and its just to
Big to do cheaply with bedding but will not be staying for ever so perennial planting ( unless its something that we can move with ease later ) is not a great idea.....oh, plus its just a wire fence away from brambles and weeds, so......

Nothing too big though, as its by a gate......any ideas welcome.

    Autumn bulbs - crocus.

Been quite nice here. Spent a lot of time cleaning the caravan but it's so messy that I didn't get that far on with it.

Seem to have a real problem getting myself organised - feel floored....

It's breezy here, but dry so far - we are off to shop over East.

It has an Autumn look to the day.

Hairy cat brought in a live mole last night & popped it in a large old brass colander spoon thing I had sitting on the floor ( just cleaned it with brasso) so that was handy for just hoiking it outside - but after all the devastation they do maybe I should have deaded it, but it looked so cute - little hands, little snout - whiskers twitching away......

Similar thing here too Choille. After removing the mouse yesterday morning our cat brought another one (or the same one) in last night. Our cat was very pleased with herself and marched about yowling to make sure that we were all paying attention.

My cat also brings live mice in and proclaims his hunting prowess loudly. Then promptly spits them at us so they land splayed out and startled then the race is on to fetch it. The cat is always upset when we release the poor mousy hostage back into the world. He spends about 40 minutes wandering round half meowing half growling and searching for it.
