Yikes, pot-bound agapanthus indeed! I'm not sure how best to proceed...think I'll just put in slightly larger pot so I can get water/nutrients to the roots then divide after flowering?

It's improved since then, but still a long way to go!

LIR - Is it from B&Q?Or Dunelm? Sorry to be nosy but I've seen it & really like it too. It does look good.

The elderly departed fat cat used to bring in mice & drop them. Even a couple of days before he died he did it. I would catch them by throwing a towel over them .......usually, but they would be as quick as fish & dart into the recesses of the caravan.
The other day I roottled out a rug I'd packed away in a bin bag - a good white wool rug & I found evidence of a mouse that had hoarded cat food & shredded bin bag & clothing - ready to nest. I've attempted to clean it, had it over the line, resorted to snipping out patches - scalped parts. It's long haired & I think I'll keep it coz I still like it. But I know the scenarios of drop & scarpper mice.
I got snappy traps that have a recess where there's a dark brown well of something,an attractant of rodents & they are hair trigger & plastic & very cheap -they WORK 99.5% of the time - they are incredibly effective.
I don't know what the brown stuff is but obviously attracts like crack cocaine to an addict.

Had a day off - well had a Summer off I suppose as I seem to have ground to a halt. It is nice just to watch clouds & the Loch & watch dolphins chasing shoals of fish that look like cloud shadows.

It just from band q choille, and its only £19 a roll. :) it has a slight metallic silver bit of twig- gage going on, but its not offensive, the eye is mainly drawn to the birds and flowers IMO.

Come on weather.....its just not warm enough for July. I keep thinking about whether I should cook on the ESSE instead of the electric oven for the warmth in the house. :(
