then I have a big walk in cupboard to sort out

    ......
CTC... underfloor heating IMO is not suitable for a space that has constant door opening etc. friend has it and she doesn't bother putting it on now as it takes a while to work and cost a fortune... my ex neighbour has a 3-400 yr old cottage, he put it in his kitchen and again he doesn't use it.. good insulation will do a better job maybe...

we're wallpapering our 'walk in wardrobe' this weekend!

I still want underfloor. :o I think its only worth doing if you have great insulation though, and yes, heat retention. So a porch or something would make a big difference. I also think what it goes under makes a difference.

Well, every though there were quite a few stalls, 30 plus, it all felt rather ' samey' if that makes sense.. The local business, that dies all the farmers markets that makes the most lushous toffee pudding wernt there, which I had my heart set on.. To scoff when I got back home. Never mind..

Spoke to friends of our who has a stall there every month selling organic chutneys etc.. So it was nice to have a catch up.

The peeps that are helping us dig up the floor is a very good friend of ours, and some of our youngest mates, the ranch seems to be the 'in' place to go for them if they are not in work, or out on the pith lol

Was it 'assisted' over the threshold?

Last week Izzy brought 'something' in and parked it under a sofa. She & Lila then spent an amusing ten minutes racing around the sofa and looking underneath.

After they'd had some fun, I decided to move things on a bit, so I lifted the sofa, forgetting that we were not living in a finished house.....:oThe 'thing' shot out, whizzed around the piled-up furniture and disappeared into the gap where new plasterboard meets old wall. Oh dear! :(

The cats then had a lazy afternoon guarding the hole....Well, Lila did; Izzy is ADHD, so she kept going out to look for another.

I knew if it was a shrew it would have to come out to eat in a matter of hours, and sure enough it did. Lila handed it over at around tea time. She isn't much impressed by shrews nowadays, but they aren't going to live in her walls! :rotfl:

How about interactive wallpaper that links to a smartphone app and makes it sing the correct song when a particular bird is pressed? :D

It's really good value paper according to my parents ( who have done lots of papering) they were surprised at the quality and its gone up like a dream. We decided, on the advice on my parents after they had looked at the paper , to put it on new plaster without lining. It looks fine. We might not have done that of it were a drawing room, but for a wardrobe we too the risk, and I'm glad, it looks super. We've done the whole tiny space in it because a whole wall is going to be covered with wardrobe on Monday and lots of the rest will get covered with stuff ( hooks, mirrors etc)
