Thanks for the advice Dave we had a look today and have booked a B and B in Lyndon. Sounds great, 10 minute woodland walk to restaurants and pubs. We managed to get the last room as most places were fully booked. So thanks again.

Gales forecast here, and I expect in many places. No jam tomorrow, when we have a repeat, but then.....warmth is promised. :cool:

And the plasterer says Wednesday, but no promise!

Old dog took a turn for the worse at the weekend.

We took her out for a last walk to a nearby field and then the vet came and peacefully put her to sleep.

There were so many more good days than bad days. I'll miss her dreadfully. RIP :A

Her pain is over now and nothing can ever hurt or stress her again.

BD....she isn't in pain now, and is at peace...it is heart breaking... But she had all the love in the world from you and your family...

I'm sorry for your loss BD but as others have said, she's now at peace and you have done right by her.
