Yes, cravings are telling us what our body needs - especially Chokelit, dark chokelit, or even white chokelit, or even a Tunnocks tea cake.

funny you should say that.... I weighed myself at work the other day. first time in a year... they were obviously not working correctly.. so today I weighed myself at friends house.... 1st weigh in wasn't wrong :(

I have always weighed the same all my adult life within 1/2 stone up or down [happy or stressed] ..

Chunky chocoholic club. The three C's - or is that too open to misinterpretation?

I am eating chocolate tea cakes now lol... The thing is you just can't eat one.. Or if you do its one packet lol...

Sounds like DH with Jaffa cakes, lol :rotfl:

Me, I'm a good girl.....since starting Alternate Day Fasting in Jan 2014 I limit myself to one teensy square of dark choc per day, usually the co-op one with orange oil. I'd rather have one square than none and as it's quite bitter I have no probs limiting myself to just the one, but I won't touch milk choc (and hate milk) or choc biscuits etc. If I need another choc fix, I'll have an Aero mousse ;)

I managed to lose 2.5 stones last year (went from 10.5 to 8 stone), put a bit on over Christmas (think it was the stress of moving house coupled with going back to 5:2 :p) and am back on target with ADF again. Currently 8.5 stone, aiming to get back to 8 by August :D

God, all this talk of chocolate is making me hungry.....but tomorrow I can have roast potatoes, mmmmm!

Well done you Phoebe. That' a marvellous achievement. I've never dieted in my life & don't know owt about it. Since stopping smoking 5 years ago the weight has crept up - clothes gotten tighter & tighter, or really shrunk!

I'll have to have a look at this dieting concept - goodness knows, I'd better make an effort before I go pop.

Sounds like you had a great day Fay. :D

The show gardens are so pretty, you really don't see anything like them other than at the shows. Is it the Chelsea Flower Show later this month? Would love to go one year but it always looks so busy

Not heard of Hosta Captain Kirk - great name. Here's a link in case anyone is wondering http://www.perennialresource.com/plants/hosta/1026_hosta-captain-kirk.aspx

Thanks for the link BD. yes it's Chelsea in a couple of weeks and will be on TV which is probably an easier way to see it. My friend has been all the big shows and said Chelsea was a disappointment due to how busy it was. She loved Hampton palace so we are going to go next year, apparently that's a nice mix of Malvern plants and Chelsea standard gardens.

The battery went in my scales and I didn't weigh myself for ages. I didn't worry as like alfie I always weighed within a margin of about half a stone.

But I did notice that my trousers all seem to have shrunk, I thought it was because I was using the tumble dryer more. :o

Got a battery for the scales and found I'd put on nearly a stone  That's a lot for me as my 'natural' weight is about 7 and a half stone. Snacks were the problem, it just seems unreasonable to stop at one choccy biscuit, or one piece of choccy. And I do like those aero mouse deserts too.

Have lost most of it now, but do keep a bit more of an eye on the snacks - bit of an effort after never having to watch what I eat.

Tunnocks tea cakes always remind me of a lovely lab called Ryan. He was a friends dog and I was greatly honoured to be allowed to look after him when she went away on a couple of occasions. He was obsessed with tennis balls and when he was me he found one on a walk under a hedge. I thought he was going to burst with excitement. :rotfl: He would put it down and look at the ball with such intensity as if he thought he could make it move by sheer will alone.

When he was 7 he got cancer in one of his back legs and it was removed. But then the cancer spread to his spine. He was PTS while my friend was feeding him Tunnocks Tea Cakes. A special chap. RIP Ryan:A
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I've never been to Hampton Court, I'd like to go. I went to Chelsea when I was younger, a few times. I always loved it. Loved it, loved it. The amazing displays of veg, the incredible single variety displays. The opportunity to enjoy things you have no knowledge of and probably no interest in buying, but to just see things at their best....its incredible. I'd love to go again. Sigh.
