Seriously, my rhubarb shot up & has now got a flower/seed head. Why?

Ours is the same. I thought it was because we'd not watered it, but maybe not, then?

I heard that roasting rhubarb with honey is good.

The cucamelons are coming along great in this sunshine. They seem faster than the cucumbers. :)

there is a huge fire on the mountain coming up our valley..been going all day, not near houses yet, and fingers crossed it will not reach them...only time will tell, the poor firemen are fighting a losing battle... there were about 6 - 8 horses loose on th road this morning, so they might have been from up on the mountain.. and getting away from the then small fire...

here is a pic of the greenhouse hubby has gone to pick up...

we might remove the plastic sheets on the other one, and mesh it all and use it for a chicken run...

    will see... lol

    not bad for £30...lol BARGAIN

If you have two of the same make/style, you can join them together (remove two end pieces) and make one big glasshouse.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

I'm still seeing the old one confused-smiley-005.gif ..... and I've had my Union Jack teapot for a couple of years - ever since deciding I'm really not young enough to be a Mod any more. :o

I've got a Devon ferret somewhere if you'd prefer that. :D

    Nice glasshouse CTC. :T

I told you we need rain. :(

We had wild fires last week. Some folks do a Muir burn before the ground nesters get started. It's been so very wet that some got a bit carried away &, although there was wind forecast they lit the hills & of course the wind swept them out of control - right up the tops.

Thank goodness Maggie changed the decor back - was feeling very queasy with the pinks.

No, Dave I don't mind the Tea Pot - just didn't look right.

That's a great buy CTC = I wish i had one. Haven't fixed the polytunnel yet. Off for a bath/ errrrrrrr to clean a house I mean..............

A friend of ours done that Ras, joined to together. that could be an idea, one of the other ones we got up the ranch is an 8x 10 I think... and the smaller one is here at the house..

In south wales, there have been loads and loads of grass fires.. must admit, the mountain b us, normally has a grass fire every year but nothing like this one, there are 8 fire brigades there at mo... and it is starting to get close to some houses... it had burned the bt cables to a farm, and they think it has burnt out the water supply pipes from their own spring...but until the fire is out, no one knows the true extent of the damage...

what the problem is as well , is that people can see the fire from the bypass road, and they are 'rubber necking' to see the fire, and there have been some near misses... seen a helicopter going over it earlier, so don't know it is the fire brigade accessing it, or a film crew, taking footage for tonights news..

    I've been Money Tipped!
There is a big forces thing this weekend near us. I think its mainly a team building think rather than normal exercises but the build up to it is immense. We've had a lot of activity and noise. :(
