Very appropriate too.:D
Ours also purr like that, even if we just turn over in the night. Very appreciative mogs.
I count the food in pouches as 'fish,' if it really looks like flakes of fish, but from Day 1 I've only offered that for breakfast mixed with dry food. For the rest of the day they just get dry food and accept that as normal. Must say the pouch food always gets them excited though; Lila walking half the way to their eating place on her hind legs! :rotfl:
Yes, the Hippo chap 'phoned last night to check he had the right location for this morning's pick-up in the dark. He didn't even jump the low hedge at the front as the idiot from Interlink Express does when going next door, but walked all the way around. Mr Interlink will need to stay fit, as that hedge will really start to motor-on next year!0 -
morning all.. ive just dropped sunny off to vets for her "op"
i had to starve her from 8 last night and this morning at 6am she plonked on my bed making a racket ?? i eventually was persuaded to put the light on and look.... she had got hold of a bag of scraps of beef my mum had put in a little bag for me for the dogs [id left it on top of the microwave], she hadnt opened it but carried it upstairs and plonked it by me and then very vocally tried to hint....:rotfl:poor gal ..:( vet wants to test her for feline aids due to her history  ive just said do anything they need to do if it gives her a clean bill of health..... right im oft to work.... collect my baby later.. hope your puss gets better LIR ? hope the piglies are ok too CTC... dry sunny day here

. Right now, having done the morning stuff, I'm back in bed with her, which is her favourite thing, and she's purring like a motor bike
.
Maybe I'll leave fish until Friday now.
I used to have a Tom called 2 Stroke!
Hope kitty makes a full recovery.
All the talk of cat walking makes me miss my two ole cats hugely. They came all over the croft especially fat cat who would come & shut th ehens in with me most evenings. I will have to go to the rescue centre & get a couple as I just feel there's a huge gap....
Rhiwie - It was Shaun Of The Dead - The zombie film. I think it's the only one I've watched all the way through.
The bed maybe what we call a Scot's Double - about 3/4 of a normal double. Suits us wee folks a treat!
Dave tarps are noising when cracking in the wind. You do seem to be getting on - wish we were, but progress is not happening & I am half mad with the thought of that.
Weather is disgusting - other week we lost the window out of the little caravan where OH worked, so now that is boarded & he works in the guddle in here - the living van, so It's all even more cramped & I really do feel the walls have moved in.
I've been listing a lot on the bay even though sales are slow it is something that I can do & will get in my Winter feed & hay soon with the proceeds.
Good to eventually catch up =FK, glad the sheep was okay. I had a lamb with it's head in a noose type rope that held up a hay rack. It was fine too, but they do seem to get into sticky situations...
Glad the piglets are there & you are enjoying that side on your venture.
Need to batten down hatches as the wind seems to have risen since the darkness came.0 -
Alfie - Hope Sunny gets on well at the vets. You do do your fair share og looking after animals. How marvellous you are with all the different ones you have.0

Good luck to Sunday cat.
My cat is ok. She had her teeth cleaned, but is not a young cat anymore, ( they keep referring to her as geriatric, which horrifies me) and has arthritis which we medicate for. I want to keep an eye on her kidney function and they didn't take a sample before knocking her out and then they couldn't because she'd had fluids. I'm whizz ing her back tomorrow, but will probably get a sample next week too.
Geriatric and the cats still shocks me, the cats were engagement gifts to each other. The other one is much fitter, the arthritis has made a difference to her sister.0 -
