Just back on the boards after being away from them for months. The EF is standing at 190.41,which is less than it was, as I had to withdraw a lump sum from it and never put it back in, so Im hoping to rebuild it back up again, so will start putting in any bits of spare change for starters until I can put a regular amount away.

EF is currently non-existant. Currently running just to stand still what with having CT to pay for 2 properties.

    Hi

Could I join please? Had £450.00 in my EF so far from lump sums being put in on paydays, but this thread has inspired me to keep slowly adding to it too! Have set up the Save the Change function on my bank account and this morning have transferred £4.44 from my QMee account.

Total as of today - £454.44

And again, another change clear out of my purse after grocery shopping today got me another £1 in 20ps.

Had I not even started. Had I been daunted at the impossible task I wouldn't even have £4.50 in just days. I don't miss the change, it's like magic.

My problem is I don't use cash at all any more. My nearest cash point is miles away so everything is done online or with debit card so I rarely have change. I try to keep a few £s in a tin for kids non-uniform etc but that goes out in whole £s. I do however round my bank account down daily.....and that mounts up quickly.
