My problem is I don't use cash at all any more. My nearest cash point is miles away so everything is done online or with debit card so I rarely have change. I try to keep a few £s in a tin for kids non-uniform etc but that goes out in whole £s. I do however round my bank account down daily.....and that mounts up quickly.

I think it would have the same effect. I often wonder if I should go cashless because there's an awful lot of forged notes these days. Do you have an online savings account to move the rounded downs to?

Yes, I have savings accounts set up as 'pots' attached to my current accounts. I put all my loose pence into my rounding pot every lunch time. I don't have a lot in there at the minute as I used what I had saved for spends over half term, but since Monday I've put £1.73 in there :D

Withdrew some cash from Prolific and some more from Qmee, as well as moving a bit of this month’s budget around and now up to £521.61. Will hopefully have some leftover to add at the end of the month still but I don’t want to leave myself too short.

Could I be added to the group please Patman?
  • Received some cashback so have transferred into EF £236 / £1000 :)
  • Used some shopping vouchers so sent the saving across. EF now £246 / £1000. Nearly a quarter of the way there :)
