Sorry folks, not been on here for weeks and weeks. Real life has well and truly got in the way:(. Am helping to look after a very close family member with a very serious medical condition. Long story how I came to be involved, follows a very long breech and maybe I feel guilty but I can't really go into it here.
Am staying at their home about 150 miles away and they have no internet there so I'm never online:(. Have no other devices to access internet/emails etc, sadly. Just dash back to my own home for a few hours about once a month and try to do a bit of catching up. No time to read all the posts but just wanted to touch base and wish you all well:beer:.
My EF has been totally wiped out but there'll always be another day and I'll start again when I can.
No time now to faff about altering my signature so the figures are miles wrong.
Might not be back for a few weeks but I will be back one day:j0 -

Hi everyone
I've not posted for a while, but have been keeping up with all your progress
My EF is now at a very nice £1,500. I am happy that will cover most emergency situations and will now throw any spare money towards paying off our debt pile
Thank you for setting up this challenge - it is so motivating to be in a group with others aiming for the same thing.DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -

Hi all, Hope everyone is doing well?!
I'm now at £413/£1000 but am lucky enough to have a lodger moving in for 5 months so will be saving £100 a month into my EF account!! Very excited about this, although it will take me to August. But at least it will be building itself up!
Calculated what I would need a month bills/food and its £780. so 3m would be £2340... I think I will look at this after I have paid off my last CC!!!No longer Debt free

I finally got around to selling a big ticket item on eBay and made £135 so my EF now stands at £340. I've been saving separately for car repairs so when I spotted a headlight not working last night it was a relief to know my EF will remain intact.
Really want to be at £500 by August so that's my next target.
Keeping the car theme, well done to everyone who is motoring along and keep pedalling to those stuck at a red light!0 -
10% done. Hope to pick up the pace and reach 25% over the next few months.0
