I am sad this morning
I had to take some money out of my Emergency Fund this morning....
But it WAS for genuine reasons and not just for silly food or something....like it would have been before....So I should feel proud of myself that I had it there for me to be able to spend it and not have to borrow from anyone....
So I'm back at 1% ..... But at least I still have that 1%....so at least I'm not starting from nothing....
How is everyone getting on?0 -
Hoping to put some more money in either today or tomorrow...
Hope everyone has a wonderful day...0 -
At least it was for something that you really needed.

Don't be down hun, the point of the Emergency Fund is so that you don't increase your debts when you need more for an emergency! I'd be surprised if most of us don't have to dip into it at some point on this journey. Still, you've got 1% in there, so you are already on the way to filling it. Hugs xxx
I had to lend my brother £20 last night, which I took from my ebay money, so unless I get my bum in gear and sell some more stuff on there I wont have anything to add to my EF :eek:0 -
I am desperately trying not to touch my emergency fund but I overspent at the weekend. I am going to budget very tightly this month so hopefully I can keep from touching it!

At least as you say it was for a genuine reason, and how great to have that little pot to fall back on when needed. 1% is definitely better than 0% too so well done for not removing the whole lot.

I keep looking at my budgets and hoping that any reshuffles don't cause me go dip into my little EF - it really is quite difficult to break old habits
Well I had a NSD yesterday so there was nothing to Tilly tidy into the EF. I did find some loose change in the car so popped that in to my change pot, when that hits 1% I'll add it to the EF account.
Hope you all have a good day

Thank You Everybody....As you say, I still have 1% which is better than nothing!!
I am going to check my Bank Account in a few minutes and see what I have to survive on and see if I can do a little tilly tidy
How is everyone getting on? And is it just me or is this month dragging? It seems to be for me anyway!!0 -
All is going well here. Still waiting to hear back from Council regarding Council Tax, but I know they do take their time to respond sometimes.Never Knowingly Understood.

Keep plodding on everybody. October is a long month I find. Feels like a long way to Payday. I spent most of last night fighting the urge to buy beauty products, as all my favourite websites have been bombarding me with emails for special offers and discounts etc etc etc.
I even got as far as putting things in my online basket before I saw sense and closed the website! Stay strong everyone and stick to your budgets. Trust me I know how hard this is0
