Probably not, but maybe the fact they have dubious tax avoidance schemes does?
You're going off topic now, but proved my point, thanks. Maplins still managed to undercut them . . .

I thought it better to keep off the topic, keeping on it would make it either very short or very repetitive.

e.g. my corner shop charges more than the supermarket, etc.

I wouldn't say they are robbing gits, overpriced maybe but not robbing.

But then they are there, available to get stuff on the same day I need it.
If I want cheaper I will have to wait for snail mail.

I think the robbing Gits act 2010 could disprove that..
But then again, robbery usually includes violence or the threat of violence... Hmm..

Brought my router from Maplins £25 more than online, but I was able to get on a Sunday 2 hours after my old router packed up.

I needed to be online that evening so I paid the premium for them having a shop open on a Sunday.

And for work I've had PSUs and graphics cards die and paying the premium was better for the business than the lost work time waiting the online delivery even if it's next day.

I have also purchased a energy saving light bulb that so far is the cheapest I've seen for that particular bulb.

I only use them when its half price. Even then you can probably get it cheaper. But as above they are there when you need something now.

Some of their stuff is the same Chinese stuff as sold on ebay but with a different logo. They charge more because of the risk of having to replace or refund whilst under warranty.

Something some of the ebay sellers forget when working out their profit margins.
